This shotgun is one I used to keep on my sailboat and i had never fired it. Unfortunately, it has a kick like a mule and a rusty return spring. Foul Language.

    If Its a 3 try a 2 3/4 i have to agree with the guy above. And if you don't like the kick us low brass or get a 20Ga. I have a double barrel twelve I use for bird hunting and she kicks but its much better with low brass!

    Is the shell too big for the bore? As in, its too tightly squeezed in? If its say a 3" try a 2 3/4" and see if it sticks.
