Installing a muzzle brake improves the ability to hold and control the fire pattern of my AK-47 assault rifle. Enjoy.

  • Chicken Wing! Elbow down, soldier!

Get yourself one of those AK-74 style brakes for 7.62, it is far superior than the slant cut brake that usually comes standard, and it still allows you to mount your bayonet. Most other models won't allow you that, since they are wider than these two. Some of them have superior performance, some of them will better hide the muzzle flash , and some will drastically reduce the noise perception (by the shooter and those behind you), in case you have decided not to use your bayo. Anyhow, it is as easy to uninstall them, so you can keep a couple of them with your gear and exercise your options depending on the scenario. Glad to help.

  • U r not an AK47 professional

For your information, this thing on the top of the barrel is a standard for every AK, and its called (flash preventer), and there is no AK in the world come out of the factory without it, so dont tell people that you bought it yourself, cause you either lying or somebody cheats you by selling you this AK without it, dump!!!

    • WRONG

No, I bought it in Kearney and it had a welded Thread protector over it. The gun store said it was a mistake, cut the welding off and unscrewed the protector and replaced it with a muzzle brake. There are a lot of left over AKs from the 60s and earlier without them as they were removed for a variety of reasons. Think before you accuse me of lying, or i'll be forced to post the sales receipt for the gun, and expose you for the jerk you are. I am responding to you, in lieu of deleting your dumb comment.

    • Check earlier videos

My earlier videos of this gun, posted last week, show the rifle with the thread protector, which was welded on.. proving it didn't have a muzzle break.
