Iron Ball Dropped in Sand

If it were just sand, the ball would make a crater on the surface then stop moving. Its a mixture of a hydrophobic sand and water. Hydrophobic meaning if you take the sand out of the water, its normal sand, but in the water it behaves as it would normal sand underwater.

Its fairy dust with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg :P

I saved this as a video file and I speeded it up by double on my movie creator program. It appears to me that this is fake and it's actually CG. Is this true?

I'm can't say it's fake, but neither is it normal beach sand. It probably is a very fine sand, because it does show a lot of the characteristics water has.
