He's good but....
yngwie malmsteen as many of the people know him he's the creater of neo classic metal. his first album is known as the bible of neo classic metal so i guess slash is of no value infront of yngwie malmsteen

slash is no punk
This guy is so much better than the band he is most famous for. He's been in the studio a lot since the demise of guns n roses and can shred on some flamenco guitar. Strange as it may seem, Slash was one of the guitar players that led me to playing in the classical style. (The extro to double talkin jive has a nice little spanish vamp at the end of it)

maybe hes not the best
there are many good players out there but how many of them have stage presence? some bloke ugly as a muff wears bage trousers and has his guitar height so it hits his chin could be a shredder and a half but he wont fill out stadiums...
