a test here in America, which was filmed a while ago, done to study the effects of the bomb. This wasn't an attack. (unless you think we've declared war on our own desert) People like you (Europeans, for the most part) hate our country because:

1 - You envy our freedom and prosperity (made possible by our policies of fair trade, minimal government interference, and certain moral standards you threw away decades ago) - and you call us intolerant because we don't let you force us to live by your standards.

2 - We back up our diplomacy with force when necessary - a vital concept European polititians (and some of ours, to be fair) seem unable to grasp or implement effectively - and we're called imperialists because we don't stand idly by and allow terrorists and brutal dictators to take over countries and kill innocent people whenever they like.
(It seems that there are a lot of ungrateful SOBs in Europe who don't remember that it is due to the USA that the Axis did not conquer them in the 1940s, and the Warsaw Pact held back from doing so in the later 1900s)

Ask the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, South Korea, Great Britain, etc. if they REALLY hate us for intervening and saving their butts.

The A.bombs were used to bring a SWIFT end to what would have dragged on for ages.Just look at Okinawa for an example of what invading Japan manually would have been like.(Thousands more would have died in a land war than were killed by the A.bombs and you are just as dead if you are shot by a gun or vaporised by an A.bomb)

The hole in the ozone layer occurs only at the south pole during its winter and is the result of a polar vortex. The radiation from this bomb would actually have created more ozone in the upper atmosphere.

The hole in the ozone layer is not sasonal, it's here all year round....

And ill tell you why,Because ther is land under most of the ice in the north pole.and the is is about 3 miles thick.If the south pole melts to and it will.you ever seen the movie water world.

It's not seasonal,but it does fluctuate.(It strenghtens then weakens on a cycle that we haven't figured out yet.)

The reason is that the ice at the north pole is already floating on the water.As it melts it shrinks etc.Put an ice cube in a glass of water and let it melt and check water levels if you don't believe me.
The ice on Greenland will raise water levels and so will Antarcticas ice,but the biggest cause of sea-level rise will be because water expands as it warms and a 1 degree warmer ocean will need more space.A lot more space than the ice melting needs.
We are screwed any way, but now at least you know what is really screwing you

The EMP that knocks out electronics only occurs with a high-altitude burst and or a very large nuke. This one was only a few kilotons.
