If somebody faints near you.
Keep the head tilted to keep tongue out of airway and if they might go into epileptic shock put something in the mouth for them to bite on (stick, rubber) or they might bite their own tongue off.

The tension of the day causes a build up of Adrenaline.
One effect of adrenaline is to concentrate your blood into your bodies "core".

It does this by constricting the blood vessel to your extremities.
Usually adrenaline is used up by some form of activity but at a wedding there is no outlet and it builds up till it blocks the blood supply to ther brain,then it's lights out.
(the same principle explains why you can faint from a fright,or in extreme cases even DIE.)
