Cornelia Grumman, executive director of The First Five Years Fund, comments at a luncheon held to discuss the importance of early childhood education. Guest panelists included Congressman Mike Castle, Ounce Prevention Fund president Harriet Meyer, Minnesota Early Learning Foundation executive director Duane Benson, and, principal education policy advisor for the McCain campaign, Phil Handy. The goal is to 'ensure that the interests of at-risk children from birth to age five are included in policy and funding decisions across the country'.
