Dan of monster-man.com makes a Paper Mache Baby Dragon. I tried to make the dragonlets at the end kitten-like, and the mother scratching her eye like a cat would scratch, with hind leg. Curious if you think I succeeded. Thanks for watching!

- Hey there.
You are always sooo kind! I really appreciate your sweet remarks on all my videos. This one took quite a while because I was making three projects at once, the little dragon on the video, and the other little one and the mother on the side. I've had a hard time finding time to do my new one. I hope to have it done within the next few weeks. It will be a dragon "trophy" head to hang on the wall. I hope you check back.

Love it. I found your "Make something ugly for a change" book at the library last week and I already started on a fish and a couple dragon busts. They are almost ready to paint. This new art technique is amazing, thank you for sharing it! I have a few questions if you don't mind-
1. How long do these sculptures last? You have been creating them for years and I am wondering if they ever break down or fall apart or anything.
2. Have you found a magic way to get glue off your hands after using it? After using the cloth I was scrubbing my hands for a while afterword and still was picking off glue the next day.
3. Some of your dragon’s tongues on your website look shiny. Is there some sort of varnish or something you add to make it look like this?

I appreciate your nice comments. I've had some of my projects for over 30 years with no degradation (although I don't leave them outside). After I've glued for a while, I wipe my hands with a full sheet of newspaper. It wads up and most of the glue gets pulled off my hands. Then I wash with water. Sometimes I coat the tongue with fiberglass casting resin to make a shiny tongue. Varnish works well too. Good luck. It is a great medium. I'm glad you like it.
