We are not trying to take over Afghanastan. We are fighting a war against terror. If we have lost then why haven't we had an attack on US soil since this began on 9/11. Our war isn't even with Afghanastan or its people. Our war is with the terrorists and terrorist simpathisers like you. They just happen to be hanging around in that part of the world. I have to say thumbs up to George W. Bush for not taking there crap or listening to the bleeding heart left wing nut jobs. Now that we have one in office maybe he will throw in the towel just as we are getting it under control.

get real hadji. the US never interested in defeating the Taliban or Al Qaeda since Bin Laden and his 'network of world wide terror' is complete fiction. Bin Laden was recruited employed trained armed by the US along with rest of 'freedom fighters' in 80's as proxy against USSR in Afghanistan. Here in 01'08' Bin Laden and the 'freedom fighters' are now ' terrorist' go figure. I compare Bin Laden with Commander Cobra without the neat costume and sidekicks.
