In a G8 meeting in Russia, bosom buddies Bush and Blair talk about the current situation and, not knowing their conversation is being recorded, Bush tells his friend that he thinks the Hezbollah needs to "stop that shit."
You people have got to be kidding me that you are so shocked and embarrassed by this. He says Hezbollah needs to stop their shit. Is that a false statement? Its not like they were in a meeting, they were just shooting the shit together. I don't know how many times I've heard people say that type of phrase in every day conversations. Yes, Bush is not the most eloquent president or a good speaker but give me a break. The fact that this is news is sickening. The REAL news is that there is a war and its not just Israel against Hezbollah it is the Western world against radical islamists. That is our war.
Could it be any clearer that this chaos is EXACTLY what all of these radicals want? The bombing of targets in Lebanon is not an overreaction, it is the straw that broke the camels back. How long are we going to let Iran and Syria continue to fund terrorist groups, go into countries, kill and kidnap soldiers and then use that as a bargaining chip. You are all missing the point. Hopefully Israel will get rid of Hezbollah strongholds around the border and then kick the shit out of Syria and Iran. As far as I'm concerned, those countries are making this whole thing go. This is not a time for diplomacy and nice little chats. These people do not want to talk, they want to KILL US. Could it be any more black and white? Why aren't Americans and the rest of the Europeans calling for all out war? The longer we sit and wait and say "lets talk" the longer you give these terrorist groups time to stockpile weapons, continue assaulting random towns in Israel and kidnapping and murdering soldiers. Enough is enough.
time , that he didnt screw up his words , the truth came out of his mouth , and here's why :
in 2003 the late lebanese PM Hariri warned hezbollah not to attack israel from lebanon , wich it made syria mad , and tensions started to heat up between syria and hariri , in 2004 the UN resolution 1559 stated that all foreign troops have to leave lebanon and the lebanese army has to deploy on all the lebanese territories including south lebanon , syria was furious since it's army was still occupying big parts of lebanon , syria accused hariri for masterminding the UN resolution , syria answered back by blowing up hariri into pieces in 2005 , the world reaction was enormous , syrians were forced to leave lebanon with pressure from US , Russia , Europe , Saudi Arabia , Jordan , Egypt etc ... lebanon started to move forward slowly and things were going fine ( ' TILL ) hezbollah was ordered to kidnap isreali soldiers , hezbollah was always sponsered by iran and syria with money and arms , hezbollah had always it's own state within the lebanese state , hezbollah never worked with the lebanese government , hezbollah never acted on it's own whitout a green light from syria and iran , on the other hand the israeli reaction was severe against the lebanese infrastructure , wich is a chance for israel to send lebanon 30 years back into the unknown , the only looser to this war is the lebanese people and government . So hezbollah started this sh.t , with the blessing of syria and iran , and thats the truth .

Then we come back with facts and, since they have no facts, they come back with insults. They can not do any better because there is no substance or facts to what they are saying or claiming. BP stop playing with the oil prices , and continue in Alaska .
By L F 1155107967 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAt least something (your comment) has made me chuckle this morning. It is harder to find humorous things to laugh about these days. I wish I was that “BPâ€Â! I would cash-out my stocks and options and run for the hills.
On a more serous note, it appears that we have finally seen the end of cheap oil. All the current information that I have seen support the belief that global oil consummation is out-pacing oil production. If this is true, then we will see gasoline, plastics, rubber, mass transportation, and food prices rapidly increase. Actually, oil prices will probably affect the price of everything. For example, a dentist will have to increase his prices to patients because his commuting costs have increased, not to mention that the cost of his medical supplies has increased. A very bleak picture, but helps one realize the importance of, the dependence on, and the effect oil has on every single human being in the entire world. Even the terrorists need oil!
Today, the spot market oil price is just over $73. Some experts are claiming that the imbalance between supply and demand requires that oil be $182 per barrel. The ratio between these two numbers is 1 to 2.5. Apply that to the average cost of gas at $3 means that gas can go to $7.50 a gallon. Not many people can afford that kind of gasoline price (a 20 gallon tank would cost $150 to fill up).
So, I believe we will see very high oil prices. We may even see world-wide oil rationing. I believe this would not only cripple the USA’s economy but the entire world’s economy. Such a monumental event could eventually be the catalyst to WW3 (my opinion). Have you ever studied the events before, during, and after the world’s “Great Depression†(1929 through the 1930s)? It looks to me that current events are unfolding and will mirror the events of this period (1918 – 1939).
PS: Some experts are already advocating that the world implement an oil rationing plan. Wow, someone wants to gain quick control of the world! Without offending you, are you a Christian?
PS2: I typed this pretty fast – I hope what I said makes sense to you.
The war clouds are gathering.

I do believe ‎Metalgee_mrr will be gone soon but he will probably come back with a new name and email. Oh, well - we will screw up again and will have to repeat the process.
He was dumb enough to think that he was going to spam my email with 50 to 60 emails and have me spend a lot of time opening and deleting his junk. What a stupido - all I did was a univesal delete on "Bush Curses The Hezbollah" and one "click" and he was deleted.
And yes, we are living in a very different generation than ever before. I do believe we are going to see so many global changes over the next ten years that will make many heads spin.
More later - right now i actually have to do some work (yuk!).

I am glad to see that your computer is working again. Three houses at one time - sounds like you are going to be very busy for a while.
You seem to have a very quick ability to get to needed info. I hope my requests have not been burdensome. I thank you for your efforts. Is there info on US assets both civilian and governmental? To be fair I am going to ask you for this info so hopefully I can persuade you that we are not in such dire straits. Three houses isn't so bad. I actually find the whole process extremely easy. I had to find something easy to do because I am the laziest guy I know. The only thing time consuming about these three is they are all updated plans with some new subcontractors. There are always bugs to work out with both. The most I ever did was six at once. It's actually easier. An efficient operator could manage 15 to 20 without a super.

By danny12 1156012462 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes, I saw the same number and it is an encouraging number when one compares it against debt totals. However, one has to remember that this number is somewhat overstated because it includes investments valued at current market prices. Meaning, that such investments (like personal residences, stock portfolios and other personal investments) can change dramatically overnight. Case-in-point, from March 2001 to March 2002, the stock market lost over $70 trillion in “market value†of stocks. And, you recall what happened to the housing industry in the 1980s.
I know you are trying to encourage me with positive things and I very much appreciate your concern and help. I assure you my mental disposition is healthy. I really am a very happy person. One of my passions is to observe and analyze world events and to gage them against Biblical prophecies. And in doing this, I don’t get upset when bad things happen, like gasoline prices going through the roof or Muslims terrorists’ activities or the bullshit propaganda some people spout-out at Metacafe and other places in the world. The big jobs take several years to get off the ground. No pun intended. I usually look at building permits and housing developements in planning. Small to medium home construction is easy to stop if the climate is not good. By the way, thanks for the debt info. If you choose to believe otherwise, it is merely an example of your dogged determination to ignore facts or twist and propagandize them to suit your agenda. Add to that the cost to rebuild, the cost of this war, the loss to economies, the loss and destruction of personal property, and the emotional trauma to men, women, children, and babies. And, the worst thing is that this could all have been avoided so easily by having had enforced UN Resolution 1559 (September 2004 – on Bush’s watch). I blame the UN more than anyone else for this man-made disaster because the UN was a political chicken-s.h.i.t and did not enforce their resolution. Had they, all of this would not have occurred.

By L F 1155277653 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI agree Syria probably called that shot (and probably had help from Iran).
Speaking of Iran, I can’t help but wonder if the Iranian President (Ahmadinejad) is outfoxing Bush. Bush for whatever the “real†reasons were, decided to war with Iraq when he should have gone after Iran. Now, Bush's attention has been diverted away from Iran because of the Israel – Hezbollah conflict. Hezbollah, of course, has been armed and is being supported by Iran (and Syria). It makes me wonder if someone is “jerking†Bush’s chain. Just my late-evening thoughts.
You are right, God bless the UK, for they have stopped a major airline disaster which, no doubt, would have resulted in thousands being killed. Flammable liquids in compartmentalized containers to be set off by a spark from a cell phone – that’s ingenious and makes it extra frightening. What’s next?
It’s good to know that you are a fellow Christian and from the US. How is the heat, still in the 100’s? In Dallas, we have had 100 or higher for almost every day for the past month. The worse part is that we have hardly had any rain in the past two years.
the heat wave is gone but it's still hot in Southern CA , few years ago i was in houston and galveston for few days , i didnt like that hot weather @ all . Some people ( if i may calling them that ) here on metacafe are jealous and dont know the meaning of friends , i wonder why they dont have any friends here since they back up terrorist countries like syria and iran .
By L F 1155429011 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt’s still hot in Dallas – 105 on Friday (8/11). I used to live in Houston and hated everything about it except for the low-cost housing and high-salary jobs. I just arrived in Atlanta (Sat – 8/12) to do some additional work on my business expansion plan. Will be back in Dallas late next Friday night.
I see you "air-slammed and water-dunked" ‎Metalgee REAL GOOD - remind me to not get on your bad side.
You’re right; some people (I usually refer to them as gnat-farts) are so consumed with the need to “force-feed†their propaganda onto others that they only make enemies. Then, if they see two people agreeing rather than disagreeing, they get jealous and make insulting comments (like Metalgee did). In fact, danny12 and I had a running dialog on several occasions and were filtered, which was great for us that someone come in after us and “cleaned-up†(if you get my drift).
We have two countries (Syria and Iran) that support hatred, violence, and murder; on the other side, we have other countries (too many to name) that support peace, prosperity, benevolence, freedom, independence, and individual rights. To sum it up, Syria and Iran are full of unstable people with the position that it’s either “their way†or “deathâ€Â! Yet, we see so many people at Metacafe showing support for Syria and Iran. This just astonishes me.
To me there is only one answer to such irrational behavior - deception has clouded the minds of many people.

Where do i f**king start, for all thsoe watching CNN 24/7, i dont blame u, its not like ur gna find out about the truth obviously. Firstly LF u said dont u dare think the whole lebanese nation is hezballah, yes the nation is with hezballah i bet u 90% ppl are with hezballah.. the shi'ites support hezballah, the sunnis too, and now most of the chrisitnas bcuz of tayyar and their leader supporting NAsrallahs actions.
How can u explain the situation in Lebanon, ther are hundreds of trapped arabs, and no not 4 lebanese?? where the f**k did u get tht s**t from that are trapped in israeli jails. After years of asking to free them the israeli simply said no, so Hezballah few years ago decided to kidnapp Israeli soldiers, in which they were able to exchange for many Arab prisoners. After asking again and again for the Lebanese prisoners they decided they must repeat themselves. Thus the ISraelis attacked the whole Lebanese nation, when I say the whole nation i mean the whole f**king natio, North, South East West Central Lebanon everywhere. You really believe HEzballah are at fault? ISrael have f**king landmines around everywhere in the South of Lebanon that they won't give maps too, mostly on CIVILIAN roads. WHY THE f**k WOD U NOT GIVE A MPA SHOWING LAND MINES. The Israelis have our land the Sha'aba farms which they won't give bakc after continious fighting, teh farms give them immense amount of water, its about 65% of their wine tht comes from there, and it contains rich soil.
Do you people even know how this war started? Around 1976, some israeli minister was in a situation where he was attempted to be assasinated by a claim from the israelis as a Lebanese guy and then they invaded Lebanon beginning an invasion.
Let me ask one question, really think about this with a neutral opinion, if sumeone entered ur house, raped your mother, sister, then killed them both along with your fathers what would you do? Any man's answer would be to kill the person doing this. The Israelis were in my moms village for 27 years, they have killed so many children, women, men. HOW THE f**k CAN HEZBALLAH be called terrorists it doesnt f**king make sense. they have NEVER, NEVER taken fire on civilians unless Israel has, how the f**k can u call HEzballah terorists, they are the only Arab REsistance Group powerful enough to stand agaisnt the ISraelis, theyre immensely large hearts continue to defeat the ISraelis in ground battles. and ask ANY person tht knows about ISrael and Lebanon they will tell u that there is no army as powerful as HEzballah in Middle-East including ISrael. Another thing u relly believe this is all about 2 soldiers tht israel is doing, it si a known fact tht to tactically plan all this would take much more than f**king a few hours, the time in which the israelis reacted.
should be syrian4life , and i am not an arab . Since you care a lot for detainees , why dont you ask the syrians for the hundreds of lebanese detainees , how many palestinians and lebanese civilians did the syrians killed since 1976 'till 2006 ? how many political leaders did the syrians killed ? and what a nice joke when you said 90% of the lebanese people are with this terrorist group , you're funny . Who do you think is gonna build back all this destruction ? israel ? hezbollah ? No , the US , Europe , Saudi Arabia will send you the money to build again , hezbollah is only for destruction , and not for resistance , and they are terrorists , all over the arab world , bunch of cowards thats what you are . Did you see me using the F word in any of my comments ? but since you like the F word cause it runs in your family , here's my answer to you , F** you and your syrian dictator , and F** all the coward terrorists wherever they are . Fanatic muslim terrorists should be stopped everywhere , you are even blowing yourselves in mosques these days , is that in your qoran too ? what do you call them when they do that ? resistance or terrorists ? killing an innocent sunni or a chiite in the house of God is an act of heroism ? resistance ? No , it's act of cowardness and low lifes . Stop covering your masters in syria and iran , you're nothing but a bunch of mercenaries and slaves .

The Lebanese have prisoners in “Israelâ€Â, they tried every diplomatic way to get them back and guess what? “Israel†refused to even listen. So I wonder what you will do when you are in the same position and your friend or brother is in the person of another “country†for no reason and all the diplomatic ways didn’t work out. Wouldn’t you kidnap or do anything to get them back?. After all Hezbollah took 2 soldiers from a battle and said from the first minute that all they want is to exchange and get back the prisoners.
No one in the whole world said a single word about the 9000 civilian prisoner that Israel had captured years ago and now everyone is crying for 2 soldiers?. Even a 7 years old child can realize that is double standards. The real news is that “Israel†doesn’t want to live peacefully and I dare you to prove it the other way around. Why didn’t they let the 9000 prisoners? Why did they capture them in the first place? Why are they capturing more now? Why are they bombing civilians now and since the beginning?. Why are they still capturing lands from Syria and Lebanon?. How can you live in peace when you go and fight with all your neighbors then cry to US and say: hey they all hate me!
I don’t know whom do you call a radical really.. And even who do you call a terrorist? What is the definition of terrorism? Terrorizing civilians you will say? Hezbollah never killed 1 single civilian unless civilians from the Lebanese side have been killed. Hezbollah wanted an exchange; “Israel†wanted an open war and started bombing everywhere. At that point Hezbollah had to defend the civilians and the only way to do that is to threat “Israel†“civilians†and that’s when the rockets started shaking “Israeli†cities. Give me one reason to say that Hezbollah is a terrorist group. Perhaps anyone who says no to US is a terrorist? Those who fight for freedom, who fight the tyrant. Those are what you call “terrorists. You are deeply mistaken.
Continue part 2.....
that's your choice to defend a terrorist organization like the hezbollah , but dont spread lies without knowing the following facts : 1 ) what land israel was occuppying from lebanon before this war ? israel was behind the lebanese international borders according to the UN border planes for the mid-east , when hezbollah launched the attack and kidnaped the 2 soldiers . 2 ) wich lebanese detainees israel is holding are you talking about ? dont mix lebanese detainees with the palestinian detainees , this is not a lebanese cause . The real fact of the lebanese detainees is the following : israel has 3 lebanese detainees # 1 samir kontar , he was captured in 1979 doing an operation for the PLO . # 2 yahya skaff missing in action in 1978 , working for the syrian baas party and since then israel denies his capture . # 3 nasim nasr he was captured spying on israel for hezbollah , he was sentenced for 6 years he did 4 , he will be released in 2 years , and this guy holds 2 citizenships isreali and lebanese , since his mom is jewish and his dad is lebanese chiite . so 2 detainees are left , samir kontar and nasim nasr , since yahya skaff is still missing in action . The last detainee swap between hezbollah and israel was accomplished indirectly in Dec 2004 , these 2 detainees stayed on hold for future detainee sawp , the swap was conducted by Germany and the International Red Cross no other detainees were listed since then . On the other hand , syria si detaining 640 lebanese detainees without any sentencing or court hearings , the number was fitered down to 280 between missing and killed during detention , that means when the civil war ended in lebanon in 1990 syria only released few dozens detainees keeping hundreds of them in their prisons , so since hezbollah is so anxious about releasing detainees , why they never asked about the lebanese detainees in the syrian jails ? why is it that 2 detainees in israel are more important than 280 detainees in syria ? and the big part of the 280 lebanese detainees in syria belongs to the muslim chiites same religion that hezbollah belongs to . if 2 detainees in israel are worth 400 dead and 2000 wounded and 1/2 million refugee and $10 billion in infrastructural damage to lebanon ( thats 'till this day, the war is not over yet ) how much you think is 280 detainees in the syrian prisons worth ? and one more thing , dont even consider thinking , that all the lebanese people and lebanese government are in favor of hezbollah , no one wants to see a private armed militia group making decisions upon the syrian and iranian interests in the mid-east . Lebanon suffered alot from other's countries war on it's soil , it's time for lebanon to have a democratic state and government again , and it only can be achieved by implementing of the UN resolution 1559 .
The # of lebanese detainees either in israel or syria are provided by the International Red Cross .
His statements seemed inane and obvert to me. I believe he has taken facts, turned them around, added some of his opinions and are using them as propaganda for his personal agenda.
Either that or he is as crazy as the terrorist that believe what they are doing is right.
Well that is your opinion, as I said before. My post is based on facts and human common sense. I have no agenda and there is no need for propaganda, “Israel†war crimes talk for themselves.
To hell with terrorists, but who is terrorist and who is not? Who decides? , I see Al Qayda as a terrorist group. but I also see “Israel†as a huge terrorist organization that is made out of terror and will continue feeding on terror. Human common sense , unless your common sense is for none humans.
NONSENSE!
By danny12 1155486852 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhat I am mentioning in my post is based on facts and common sense. After all you could consider it as an opinion so please, so please don’t tell me what not to say or what to say. The one who is reading the comments is intelligence enough to realize what the lies are and what the truth is.
Now answering to your points:
1) “Israel†was occupying and still occupying Sheb’a land from the Lebanese. If you are going to say that Sheb’a is not a Lebanese land then don’t, its not you who says whose land is this, it’s the people of that country before it got occupied. And don’t try to show that Israel was fully respecting the international borders, what about the planes that used to fly whenever they pleased, what about kidnapping or killing number of farmers new the borders?.
2) I am talking about the prisoners* you mentioned yourself. I am not mixing between the Palestinians and Lebanese, however they are all Arabs. If Hezbollah can free more prisoners then why not?. I mean giving a freedom to anyone is a pure and honorable goal.
The prisoners that Syria is holding were captured long ago in the civil war (which “Israel†gladly provoked), back then everyone was killing anyone, Chaos and mass killing. Syria entered Lebanon to stop all that. And to stop that you must captured the leaders and the helpers of those war criminals. There is a huge part of those working for “Israel†intelligence and they deserve what they got. No one would ask anyone to release traitors or war criminals. Hezbollah doesn’t care about religion. None of the 3 Lebanese prisoners are chiite, they are either sonne or Christians(one of them, not sure though).
If “Israel†really wanted peace, wouldn’t they have swapped the prisoners?. But apparently they got a big slap on their face and their army, so they had to do some mass killing in order to return the confidence to the military. So till this day, “Israel†has killing more than 1000 pure innocent civilians. They are Targeting refugees and even civilian’s cars. Why? Because the military has totally failed to conquer Hezbollah fighters. Israel wanted this war, not Hezbollah, Hezbollah wanted prisoner exchange, “Israel†wanted mass destructions and more blood to drink, Even its own people blood.
I don’t think that anyone has the right to say what Lebanon needs or decides. Lebanon is the most democratic country in the arab world. You don’t have the right to decide for Lebanon, they have a government and people to decide their own path. And don’t talk about UN resolutions please, I am sure that you don’t want me to list for you the resolution that “Israel†have never achieved or done.
Talking about a the Red Cross, the Red cross and Human Rights Watch have declared that Israel has done massacres in Lebanon. These are not my words.
you're only pretending that you're stating facts , but in reality you're stating the syrian point of view , you're ignoring the UN Resolutions and reports about sheba , when israel occupied sheba farms in 1967, the syrian army was there , and not the lebanese army , the UN Resolution 242 never mentioned anything about israel occupying any lebanese land , neither the lebanese government in 67 claimed that any of the lebanese land was occupied by israel , so the shebaa farms is part of the UN Resolution 242 between israel and syria . lately lebanon started to claim shebaa farms from syria , but syria refused on many occasions to register officially shebaa farms as a lebanese territory . so 'till syria register officially the land to lebanon , shebaa farms is a syrian territory and it's part of the UN Resolution 242 . unless you're like syria , and you dont believe in the UN Border Registry . syria entered lebanon not to stop the civil war , but to be part of it , and they were forced out just recently , syria killed all their political opponents in lebanon christians and muslims , syria never filed any claims or criminal charges on it's 300 lebanese detainees , never let them meet with any defense lawyers wich is a violation of human rights . hezbollah fighters are infiltrated within the lebanese population , it's very hard to attack them , hezbollah never faced israel in a battlefield , they are attacking the israelis in between the innocent lebanese population and homes , even if israel occupies hezbollah territories , it will be a hard task for them to capture hezbollah fighters . hezbollah commited an act of war and not an act of detainee swap . i agree totally with the red cross and human rights reports , i dont have any problem with that , and syria was mentioned few weeks ago by human rights for detaining syrian intellectuals without any charges or trials . lebanon has a free democratic government , and this same government was asking hezbollah for the last year to comply with the UN Resolution 1559 and send the lebanese army to the south and hezbollah was always refusing that , backed up by syria and iran cause @ the end hezbollah takes the orders from their masters in syria and iran . how sad this is that after over 1000 innocent people got killed , 6000 injured , 1 million refugee , $30 billions of destruction in infrastructure , villages destroyed , only after all these , hezbollah agreed to send the lebanese army to the south , we all wonder what other surprises this evil trio ( syria , iran , hezbollah ) is hiding for lebanon .
By L F 1155427002 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHezbollah weapon is a Lebanese issue, they solve it through politics and they were doing meetings and long talks on that subject. So its not an Iranian, Syrian or USA issue. It is pure Lebanese. Syria and Iran is backing Hezbollah up? , so what? Whats wrong in giving a well trained resistence the weapons to defend their own country and bee a huge stick in in the enemy arse (“Israelâ€Â)?. They do not take orders from anyone, maybe they take the weapons , but not the orders, you don’t know much about nationalism do you?. Now this is funny now, don’t tell me that you are sad on the 1000 innocents who have died in Lebanon, who kill those? Hezbollah rockets? Hezbollah weapons?, Hezbollah is there , in south Lebanon. Why don’t you fight them there? But instead , the “Israeli†air force bombs the cities, don’t tell me that Hezbollah is hiding behind civilians, Sayyed hassan nasrallah have declared many times, don’t bomb our civilians, and we won’t bomb your civilians, or else, it is eye for an eye. Leave our civilians and come fight us in the south , go on the land if you are real men. And look now, the “Israeli†soldiers are crying and being smashed up in their tanks. Don’t tell me that you are sad on the innocent lives, those weapon that the US have made by the tax money and given to “Israel†are the ones that are killing the innocent lives.
now this is more funny, You claim the (syria, iran, hezbollah) is the evil trio?? lol. what is "israel' then? the poor lamp?, now I wonder what is "israel" hiding, more bombs than what we are seeing everyday, more killing. What a bright future they have for the lebanese.
hezbollah's weapons were mentioned in the 1559-1680-1701 UN Resolutions , so it's not a lebanese issue anymore , also in the past , the lebanese government were negotiating with hezbollah about their weapons , and the answer was negative until this second , their refusal will push lebanon into the unknown and into more destruction , syria and iran are not only backing up their mercenaries in hezbollah , but also they're ordering hezbollah , not to give up their weapons and lead lebanon into a dark future . And lets not forget that hezbollah is not the only party in lebanon , other lebanese parties are asking for the disarmament of hezbollah . And wich battlefield you're talking about , hezbollah has no military bases , they're not wearing any military clothes , you cant distinguish a hezbollah militant from a regular civilian , they have the same cloth , they were always firing rockets from the backyards of their homes . An eye for an eye ? thats what is killing the muslim world , you're not only using this eye on eye thing against israel , but also you're using this eye on eye thing among yourselves as arabes and iranians , by the way thats a good policy for us , cause its killing you day after day , specially now in iraq , lets get back to the " an eye for an eye " with israel , lets see whats the losses of israel comparing to the lebanese loss , i know you will be in shock , but you wont admit it , like your hezbollah leader and his masters in syria and iran . Keep living in denial . You should be celebrating the " an eye for an eye " victory .

By Big Prick 1156030209 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell nope, I do not need to pretend anything. And if I will stat any point of you, it will be mine own. I am not the one ignoring the uN resolutions, it is “Israel†that is ignoring what it doesn’t like , and pointing out what makes things good for them. The Lebanese Government declared that the Sheba farms were Lebanese land, but under the authority of Syrian troops. The UN resolution was based on the government point of view, which at that time did that great mistake of not mentioning the sheba farms. So no, the sheba land is not for who sits in it, ask its own people, they all said that they are Lebanese and not Syrians. Syria never refused to register officially that sheba farms are Lebanese territory, but to register that , you need to make border planning in order to know what are your own borders are. Lebanon borders keeps on changing because of “Israel†, today they are in, tomorrow they are out, once it is a blue line, then a red line. So it is almost impossible. And hey, who said that Syria doesn’t believe in the UN border registry?. Why don’t “Israel†just simply return the Golan hill? which is officially Syrian lands by UN resolutions. You know who doesn’t care about international borders?yep, “Israelâ€Â, the “Israeli†airforce made daily entrance over Lebanon and without even considering the borders. Spy planes , fighters.. etc. And all that happened through the years since 2000 and till now and it is registered by the UN. Syria entered Lebanon with the acceptance and blessing of USA and the UN in order to stop the civil war. So it is very silly to say that Syria entered Lebanon to be part of the civil war, if so , then the UN was part of the civil war, and USA as well. So make up your mind on that. Yes , they made a mistake by not leaving Lebanon earlier, they did a number of mistakes which they admit. And I am 100% sure that “Israel†has assassinated a great number of politicians whom were against the “Israeli†agenda, surely not less than 20 politician, Muslims and even Christians.. And that is also admitted by the Lebanese government. About 3 to 4 “Israeli†intelligence networks were found and even caught in the past year ONLY. So I think “Israel†is the number 1 suspect in the latest assassinations Including AL Harere assassination. However, the investigations are still going on it. The Lebanese government have declared , many times that Hezbollah is not a militia, and that it is a resistance group. I also agree 100% with the red criss and human rights watch. Syria was mentioned few weeks ago, okay sure I didn’t say no, but “Israel†is mention in it today, and every day due to the massacres they are doing in Lebanon or Palestine. They were mentioned in the reports years ago, what did they do? Nothing., continue to 0.2...
By MetaM 1155504916 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeuntil the day that syria registers officially the shebaa farms to lebanon @ the UN , shebaa farms will remain a syrian land , and it will stay included in the UN Resolution 242 , case closed . About the Golan , thats not a lebanese problem , thats between syria and israel , if syria wants the golan back , why dont they use hezbollah as usual , since hezbollah always brings victory and celebration , but syria knows well if they're gonna use force against israel , Olmert's next cabinet meeting will be held in damascus , so case is closed there too . About the israeli spying aircraft in the lebanese skies , yes you're right , cause they've been watching closely how hezbollah were getting their waepons from syria into south lebanon , thats when , they warned the late lebanese PM Hariri about these activities , and Hariri assured that there will not be any assaults from hezbollah against israel from the lebanese territories . Hariri warned hezbollah that any military agression against israel , will be opposed officially by the lebanese government , syria didnt like @ all Hariri's threat , and tensions between syria and hariri start to build up 'till the night of the adoption of the UN Resolution 1559 , syria went nuts and accused hariri and president Chirac of beeing behind the 1559 , syria knew well that hariri was trying to take back the lebanese decision making from the syrian grip , and thats when they decided to blow him into pieces . We all know after that the reaction from US UK France Russia Saudi Egypt Jordan etc... and how the syrians were forced out of lebanon , syrians are the # 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 ... suspects of that assassination , never the name of israel was mentioned in the UN investigations , and the UN is still working on this case and soon they will organize an international court for that , and guess who will be in the accusation cage , your masters in syria .

Read the history of ancient Israel and Judah.
Israel occuppied that land, and more, 3,800 years ago, from the patriarchal period beginning with Abraham (1800 BC) to 67 AD, when the Romans completely destroyed Israel and killed most of the Israelis.
Also, most of the land that Israel is occupping was given to the by the owners (UK) of the land, in 1948. I'm tired of giving history lessions to uneducated people - go do some reading.

using the same twisted facts and logic that you blindly use in support of israel, it d be very hard for someone like you who, i assume, is ok with displacing an entire population for the sake of a stronger population - namely the early-settlers in the north america and/or the israelis.
It is, as i came to realize, a waste of time to explain why israel is wrong to those who cannot see what is wrong with taking someone's lands by force.
It is the lawlessness and the, sometimes, cow-boy attitude tward the world that some americans tend to have. No one can explain it properly to you, sadly.
and why if israel is occupying palestine , lebanon has to pay for that ? the lebanese government has no problems with israel about it's international borders , so stop implicating lebanon in the palestinian israeli conflict . On the other hand lebanon has borders problem with syria , since syria is refusing to meet the UN border delegation to finalize the international borders between lebanon and syria . Knowing that no one has the right to kill anyone specially innocent people , did you ever asked yourself how many palestinians did the jordanians kill ? and how many palestinians did the syrians kill ? and how many lebanese did the syrians kill ? you will find out that that arabs killed each other more than the israeli did . And concerning the palestinian cause , lebanon payed enough for that since 1975 and it's time for lebanon to be on it's own , democratic and free . And that's how exactly each nation should be .

you should say that to american administrations who favored corrupted and bloody regimes over democracy for the sake of oil.. examples?

they had free elections in iraq and palestine, right? palestinians chose hamas and iraqis chose dawa party. Borth are extremists but democratically elected, no?
I will assume you going to ask an intellegent question about why democracy failed to bring someone who is not extremist. the answer is, israel's actions and injustice.
A government under “Democracy†works. A society under the “Free Enterprise†system works. Hell, even socialism and communism can work. PROVIDED the people in power are honest and are working toward a common goal to better its society. However, when people in power misuse their positions to advance their “own†agendas, then there is a problem. And, I believe we have a problem, a very serious problem. And, I believe, this problem is not exclusively limited to the USA, but the entire world.
Are our leaders making mistakes? Yes and no. Yes, if you factor in the benefits or well-being of its citizens. No, if you factor in hidden agendas.
With regard to Iraq and Palestine, yes, something is/has gone very wrong – no doubt. However, the answer is obvious, if you take a step back and look at what is happening throughout the entire world.
PS: I am guessing that you are not a Christian - I am. And, I have studied Bible prophecies for over 30 years (no, I am not a religious nut or extremist) and I see and know what is happening. Meaning, that I am not surprised at what we are seeing today. The people of Israel, as well as the rest of the world are being “playedâ€Â. If one is intelligent and well-informed and has the wisdom and discernment to see that which can not been seen by the eye, then that person will understand what is going on.

no it's not the israeli warplanes that will bring democracy and freedom to lebanon , democracy and freedom to lebanon is in the UN Resolution 1559 . And why is the US or israel to be blamed , if there's a dictator in egypt , syria , sudan , north korea , belarus , iran , venezuela etc ... people in these countries are fed up of their leaders , and not the US , and what hapened when hamas took over the power in palestine ? they started to kill each other , and a civil war was about to start between palestinians , but it all stoped when hamas kidnapped an israeli soldier . Bringing extremists to power , will only make it worse , and the only one whos gonna pay : the citizens . Taking over the power in these countries was never meant to move forward , what they do instead is more corruption and dictatorship, democracy is moving forward , and the longer these countries will stay in darkness and corruption , the farther they will be from prosperity .

Another incident just happened recently in the famous Jordanian wedding reception , among the innocent people who were killed by zarkawi , was Moustafa Akkad , the famous director and producer , who gave the world a positive movie about islam , and thats how zarkawi thanked him , was this fair ? was this resistance ? i know that this has been going on in centuries , but when all this is gonna end ? when sunni and chiite will live peacefully together ? my point from all of this is to say that not only israel has a problem with the arabs , but also arabs have problems among them , and iran is behind this for centuries now . By Big Prick 1153892889 Reply Spam [+3] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHizbollah is not a terrorist organization, it is there to support or form solidarity with the people of Falestine. First, you should be careful when you use the word terrorist or terrorism. Terrorism is FUNDAMENTALLY an act of instilling fear into people's lives and a terrorist is a person who perpetuates it. If you look at both sides i.e. the West (US and its Allies) and the Hizbollah and others they are both guilty of being terrorists, How? The US is occupying Iraq, Afghanistan, it has millitary base camps in Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), etc. that sort of presence itself is intimidating to the people of middle eastern/Arab descent and hence Muslims in general. To top it all up the US supports Israel through and through, it never speaks against it no matter what. If that is not biased and unjust then maybe you can explain to us what it is since you're so learned especially when massacres like Jenin continue to occur. The US fought against Russia, Vietnam and Cuba, WHY? Because they were communist states and at the same time still having opressive laws against black people. Funny, I once saw Oprah interviewing some Americans from the South, not long ago, and she ask them why don't they like black people and they said 'they hate niggers becoz they are communists', 90% of them. The same people go and vote for a leader like Bush. One thing suprising and contradictory is that Hamas wins the elections cleanly, the US threatens to cut aid to Falestine. Hamas was democratically elected, what democracy does the US stand for? maybe Demo-Crazy?
As for the people of Falestine, they don't have an army how do you expect them to fight for their land? Israel has already expanded their settlements beyond specified quotas of 1948, why did they even do that? Hizbollah kidnapped the soldeirs not just for the Lebanese prisoners but for Palestinian prisoners as well.
Dont give me lessons about terrorists , hezbollah is using the lebanese poeple in their southern villages as human shields , firing their rockets in between houses full with innocent people seeking for shelter , thats terrorism . On the other side israel is protecting their people by sending them to propre shelters . dont mix the lebanese cause with the palestinian cause , lebanon payed a big price for that since 1975 and its enough , let other arab countries care for the palestinian cause , lebanon did that part . The lebanese government or people never asked hezbollah to protect the palestinian cause , that part was taken care by hamas . syria and iran wants to use hezbollah to attack israel , so let syria take all hezbollah fighters inside the syrian territories , and attack israel from the Golan . Lebanon has a new fragile democratic government , so to you syria and iran , take your hands off lebanon , and stop pushing and commanding your hezbollah mercenaries .

Was it not Palestinians who were so greedy as to decline the offer of an official homeland? The current Palestinian situation is of their own making. As for "barbarian occupiers". NO western country has EVER occupied Palestine. Palestine has been "occupied" only by other Muslim peoples. Specifically Syrians, Egyptians and Baghdad. You people are trying to further an argument based on twisted facts. Your closed societies are I believe kept that way so you are able to continue to brainwash your populations starting with drilling 5 year olds with toy guns. You people are so far gone the only option you have left is for the total destruction of your perceived enemy. What you morons don't seem to get is no matter how far you ratchet up your little skirmishes the only way you will ever be able to acheive your goals is for all out war. You simply do not have the firepower to wage such a war.

You have been mislead and misinformed or you are trying to influence people on Metacafe to believe as you do. And, judging by your statements, you are intelligent and well-read. However, I believe you have taken facts, turned them around, added some of your personal opinions and are using such as propaganda for your personal agenda. Your statements, as I read them, are flawed and some are illogical, and certain facts presented by you have been turned around to use as the opposite of what these facts actually represent. To sum it up, your statements seem inane and obvert. And, you’ve made so many that, except for a few, I’m not going to attempt to address all or most of these clever and misused statements (although I’d like to but lack of time keeps me from doing so).
I don’t agree with what Bush is doing nor do I care for him, but to say “America should be embarrassed by him†is a ludicrous statement (as made by you). I’m a naturalized citizen of America and was born in Germany (I once was a German citizen) and I take no claim and no blame for what Hitler and his followers did before and during WW2. Hitler doesn’t embarrassed me because I had nothing to do with what he did.
Back to your saying. “America should be embarrassed by Bush.†I ASK YOU, WHY?
SHOULD Romania be embarrassed by former president Nicolae Ceausescu who was found guilty of crimes against humanity and was executed in 1989?
SHOULD Italy be embarrassed by Premier Silvio Berlusconi who already resigned once and after the end of his five-year corruption trial in December, his coalition collapsed leaving him scurrying to rebuild his government and self-respect?
SHOULD Rwanda be embarrassed by its 22 leadership group (including former prime minister Jean Kambanda) who pleaded guilty to genocide and was sentenced to life imprisonment for crimes against humanity committed in 1994, when an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were massacred and more than two million fled the country?
SHOULD Germany be embarrassed by Hitler?
SHOULD Russia be embarrassed by Stalin?
SHOULD Catholics be embarrassed by The Holy Crusade?
You see, you’re one of many that enjoy slamming America. Rather than saying (as you did), “America should be embarrassed by him†don’t you think that it’s reasonable to say, “Bush may have embarrassed himself? I could go on for hours but, surely you get the point!

Now, on to your statement about Hezbollah. You said, “Hezbollah isn’t doing any s**t so they don’t have to stop anything.†So Hezbollah wasn’t involved in the suicide bombings of the U.S. Embassy, which killed 63, including 17 U.S. citizens; or in the bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut which killed 241 U.S. servicemen; or in the bombing of the French multinational force headquarters which killed 58 French troops?
Hezbollah was founded in 1982 for the sole purpose to fight the Israeli soldiers occupying southern Lebanon. For your information, Israel’s occupancy ended in 2000 and, along with that, Hezbollah’s purpose ended as well. But Hezbollah has refused to disband, choosing rather to have a new purpose - to eradicate all Jews from the earth. Does this sound familiar? It should, the Canaanites, Babylonians, Romans, Russians (under Stalin), Germans (under Hitler), Palestinians, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, etc., etc. all wanted or want to eradicate the Jews. [side bar: the Israeli Jews will be existing long after your bones and mine have turned to dust, as many powerful nations over the last 3,800 years (give or take a few hundred years) have tried, all have failed miserably and as new ones come on the scene, they too will fail miserably. And, eventually and as history has proven, these nations actually were to ones become extent.]
And, isn’t Hezbollah in direct violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1559 (September 2, 2004), which states, among other things, "calls upon all remaining foreign forces to withdraw from Lebanon and for the disbanding and disarmament of all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias, including the disbandment of the military wing of Hezbollah
Hezbollah even attempted to thwart the peace truce signed between the Israel and Palestinian governments. But, don’t take my word for this, I didn’t say it, the PLO said it in February 2005.
PART 3:
By the way, ‘dictionary.com’ defines “terrorist†as the “characteristic of someone who employs terrorism (especially as a political weapon); ‘terrorist activity’; ‘terrorist state’; noun: a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities.†And you say Hezbollah is not a terrorist group. Man, you have some serious mental problems.
You know what else, even America has terrorist groups and individuals. No one in America will deny this. You remember Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols?
You said, “Perhaps anyone who says no to US is a terrorist?†How can you ask such a broad-based question? Anyone who says “NO No to what? Are you saying that, “No President Bush, I can’t go to lunch with you this Friday, it’s my wife’s birthday.†is a terrorist?
You said, “Those who fight for freedom, who fight the tyrant. Those are what you call “terrorists You are deeply mistaken.†No, we’re not. Not if such groups encourage soldiers to fire upon them while they are hiding behind the skirts of women. Not if such groups sneak into a restaurant and kill themselves and innocent civilians (men, women, children, and babies).
SUCH GROUPS ARE NOT ONLY TERRORISTS BUT THEY ARE INSANE AND COWARDS. End of discussion.
Not a bad website, Bad each time you listen to amarican politics you hear a new definition for terror.. so that also is not going to work. And yes , Hezbollah isn’t a terrorist group, and their you go insulting me for my opinion, shows how well educated and how you accept other opinions.
I know that America has terrorist groups.. don’t make me say that US government invited terror.
And yes, I still say that whoever stands against US government goals, is considered as a terrorist. Don’t take my words like that, you know what I mean by saying no. Not no against the president , or not no I can’t go out with you. You either don’t want to understand , or just can’t understand. I am sure that your government won’t be happy when you say , NO , Hezbollah isn’t a terrorist group. Can you explain to me why Nelson Mandela was considered a terrorist by the government?. Usually when you try to fix things, they either force you to join them , or just call you some name they invent so that people don’t care for you.
Yes, They are freedom fighters, they are fighting the blood suckers who are feeding on the blood of innocent, they feed on war. Everyone who fights against warlords and for freeing the land, is a freedom fighter. Who is the warlord? It is who gains either money or political goals by making wars and going through them. I am sure that the war factories are gaining A LOT of money every time Bush starts a war. And then, what Americans pay as taxes , goes to Israel for free as smart or stupid bombs.
If “Israel†soldiers are real men , they would have gone man to man instead of hiding behind a tank or whatever. Who says that Hezbollah is hiding behind civilians? The “Israel†army failed to show one single video showing that Hezbollah is firing rockets from civilian area. Don’t talk about civilians and babies, it is the “Israeli†bombs that are hitting babies and women daily. Why? Because they cannot fight like men, they cannot kill real soldiers , they only kill civilians.
Quote from Cofi Annan :
“We cannot compare Hezbollah to Al Qaeda. Hezbollah has helped the society in many fields such as education , health care and such. Hezbollah has a clear goal, free the prisoners and free the land. While Al Qaeda didn’t have a pure goal, they were just ruling the country and terrorizing their own people.
So the result is, freedom fighters whether you like it or not. They are in the eyes of hundreds millions around the world. You say end of discussion, well good that you gave up, heh, it is always good to admit it.
Enough said
You said, “and their you go insulting me for my opinion, shows how well educated and how you accept other opinions.â€Â
Actually, I am highly educated and have received honors from several universities in the USA.
You are right; I was out of line and should not have insulted you. And, I sincerely apologize for having done so. You clearly are intelligent. However, both of us clearly have a huge difference of opinion. I lost my patience with you, as I have with some others at Metacafe, because I see what is going on (the big picture) and sometimes I lose control and yell-out with words. I realize that does not excuse my previous behavior but I hope you can understand my frustration at times.
You said, “And yes, I still say that whoever stands against US government goals is considered as a terrorist.â€Â
Again, except for “US government,†your statement is unspecific and I have no clue as to what you are talking about. Who are you talking about when you say “whoever stands against the US? Name some people that have “stood†against the US and were considered terrorists only because they “stood in the way†of this huge and powerful and evil empire called the USA?
I can only think of two, Terry Nichols who is serving a life sentence (without parole) and Timothy McVeigh who was executed. AND, YES THEY WERE TERRORISTS. Not because they “stood in the way†but because they killed a whole bunch of people – in America, we call people like McVeigh and Nichols cowards, murderers, and terrorists – these two are no different than Hezbollah.
You said, “I know that America has terrorist groups.†How can anyone respond to your statement? Again, you make a general statement. So, again, name these so called American terrorists groups and provide references so that I can check the authenticity of your statements.
By Big Prick 1155450703 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou said, “They are an independent group residing in Lebanon.†By whose account? Do you recall what the USA did in response to 9/11? You remember the group responsible for 9/11? You remember that they too were residing in a country (Afghanistan) independently? What happened to them? What happened to Afghanistan because they REFUSED to give them up?
What Israel is doing is no different than what the US did immediately after 9/11. You may feel that both countries were/are wrong (US and Israel) and I frankly don’t give a rat’s ass what you think. The actions of the US and Israel is justified. The barbaric and cowardly actions of Hezbollah and Al Qaeda (and other terrorist groups, as well) are not justified. Anyone with one ounce of common sense will agree.
And, we have just seen another terrorist attempt, didn’t we? One that would have been as bad, if not worse, than 9/11. I believe the arrest count is now at 40 or so and spans three countries.
The bottom line is that all non-Muslim people throughout the entire world are at RISK to being killed by terrorist acts.
PART TWO
Let’s forget world leaders and politicians for a few minutes. Here is my take. Hezbollah does not officially represent any legitimate group of people that are self-governing. They are cowards who, when the Israelis came to their “campâ€Â, the Hezbollah hide behind innocent Lebanese men, women, children, and babies firing their weapons without a care if the Israeli soldiers fired back and killed any of the Lebanese men, women, children, and babies. What do you call this action by Hezbollah? Do you consider them heroes? Do you consider them “freedom†fighters?
PART ONE
You said, “Hezbollah isn’t a terrorist groupâ€Â
What are you basing this on? The fact that this group has built swimming pools for the kids in Lebanon?
The following countries have stated that Hezbollah IS A TERRORIST GROUP: United States, Canada, Israel, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Australia.
And although, the European Union (EU) has not officially recognized Hezbollah as a terrorist group, the EU Parliament did pass a resolution recognizing "clear evidence" of "terrorist activities by Hezbollah". And, the EU Council lists one of Hezbollah's senior intelligence officers (Imad Mugniyah) as a terrorist.
Also, the EU, pursuant to Resolution 1559, ordered Hezbollah to disband – FACT.
In addition to various governments recognizing Hezbollah as a terrorist group, there hundreds of independent organizations that recognize Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. The Council on Foreign Relations said, and I quote, “Hezbollah is a Lebanese umbrella organization of radical Islamic Shiite groups and organizations. It opposes the West, seeks to create a Muslim fundamentalist state modeled on Iran, and is a bitter foe of Israel. Hezbollah, whose name means “party of God,†is a terrorist group believed responsible for nearly 200 attacks since 1982 that have killed more than 800 people, according to the Terrorism Knowledge Base.†– end of quote.
Here are some specifics of major attacks Hezbollah has been responsible for:
“Hezbollah and its affiliates have planned or been linked to a lengthy series of terrorist attacks against the United States, Israel, and other Western targets. These attacks include: a series of kidnappings of Westerners in Lebanon, including several Americans, in the 1980s; the suicide truck bombings that killed more than 200 U.S. Marines at their barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983; the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847, which featured the famous footage of the plane’s pilot leaning out of the cockpit with a gun to his head; two major 1990s attacks on Jewish targets in Argentinaâ€â€the 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy (killing twenty-nine) and the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center (killing ninety-five). a July 2006 raid on a border post in northern Israel in which two Israeli soldiers were taken captive. The abductions sparked an Israeli military campaign against Lebanon to which Hezbollah responded by firing rockets across the Lebanese border into Israel.†– end of quote.
This information is available in numerous publications (such as books, magazines, newspapers, etc.) and the internet. If you have evidence that another group is responsible for these attacks, then please share it with everyone else!
You said, “bad (but) each time you listen to american politics you hear a new definition for terror.â€Â
Except for the word “American,†your statement is unspecific and I have no clue as to what you are talking about. And, I doubt anyone else at Metacafe has a clue. You see, that is my point. No one can intelligently converse with you because you throw out broad-based or generalized comments.
There are 300 million people in the USA and I can’t even begin to guess how many of the 300 million are in the many US federal, state and local government groups. Since your statement was unspecific, tell me who has defined and redefined the word “terrorist†- give me the derivation (original) definition of terrorist and the metamorphosis (each time the definition changed), in chronological date order, along with the names of the persons and at what capacity they represented the USA. When you provided me with this information, I believe I will be able to intelligently provide you with some insight.
Therefore, I will, over the next two or three weeks, attempt to provide rebuttals to what you have said because you are 100% wrong on everything. You talk, believe, and act no different than may world politicians as your thoughts are so biased and full of propaganda (and I see some hate) that you are not able to come up with your OWN opinions.
Can you tell me what country you are from so that I can get an idea as to why you think and believe the things that you do?
Eh, I am still saying that Hezbollah isn’t doing s**t , perhaps unless some started doing s**t. That attack you mention is no one is really sure who made that attack. Hezbollah didn’t say anything related but wait, those who died weren’t civilians, they were troops. Whoever killed them it doesn’t really matter, but what is the US troops doing in Lebanon?!?? Why are they nosing in!??. I am sure that you will be more than happy to bomb the barracks of the troops that came to your land without your permission.
I am glad that you know for what purpose Hezbollah was formed. I do have information and I do not request them from anyone. “Israel†troops ran out of south Lebanon at the year 2000. But Hezbollah purpose has not ended, because “Israel†did stayed in Sheb’a land which is also a Lebanese land. “Israel†claimed that Sheb’a land is for Syria. But Syria declared that Sheb’a land is for Lebanon, the Lebanese declared that sheb’a land is for Lebanon. The people who live in that land said that as well. It is so simple again. And for that reason Hezbollah refused to disband and will not disband because the threat of “Israel†invading Lebanon is always there. They never declared that they want to eradicate all jews from Earth, they might have said that they want to wipe up the racist Zionists but that is something else. Not all Jews are the same. Oh please , don’t start the anti Semite now, everyone wants to kill the jews! And started crying, please don’t do that. Don’t tell me who was in that land before, animals ruled the whole planet, I don’t see them complaining, Maybe the Native Americans should wipe out Americans and get their land? That is stupid.
Lol, here I must laugh , don’t talk about UN resolutions!!! Don’t make me list then ones that Israel never cared about. Infact “Israel†is the most “country†that got veto against UN resolutions or just refused to admit them. Peace truce??? What peace truce?? It was long ago berried. Don’t tell me who tried to thwart it or whatever. “Israel†doesn’t even care for peace truces.
With respect.
try another dictionary, not dictionary.com, something of ealier edition like 1910s or so. Stop relying on the internet for basic information. No wonder you people in the US are so brain washed. "often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities" is a latest edition into standard dictionaries, like the word Funda, mentalist (separated cause 15 letter words not allowed) which has been tempered with to fit the description of certain people and religions as orchestrated by politicians with agendas. Try searching for funda, mentalist and see if there's no mention of Islam there....

Do you know why it is used? By the way, what country are you from?
Notice that they used the word "HARASSED". Emad's story is not a unique story...there are many others and hence they say "many in North America's Muslim community..."
By Ibrahimo 1155497042 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI quote to you from a creditable article from Ryerson Review of Journalism from Canada. This are not my words:
"The lead in The Vancouver Sun's headline story the next day reported that FBI and counterterrorism officials were "probing a suspected Middle East terrorist connection." Other Canadian papers were more presumptuous: "Islamic Fundamentalists Suspected in Explosion" (The Toronto Star); "Islamic Militants Draw Suspicion" (The Globe and Mail); "Some Say It Looks Like Work of Islamic Terrorists, but [U.S. Attorney-General Janet] Reno Is Cautious" (The Gazette).
In the days following, many in North America's Muslim community were harassed. In the U.S., mosques were defaced and Arabs and Muslims questioned. In Toronto, on the day after the bombing, two plainclothes RCMP constables dropped by the Pathfinder Bookstoreâ€â€which sells socialist literatureâ€â€to question 19-year-old Nojan Emad, then a volunteer at the store. The Canadian Arab Federation, which documented the complaint, said the agents queried Emad about his views on Cuba. He refused to answer. Four hours later, two other RCMP constables arrived and, without a warrant, forcibly dragged Emad from the bookstore into a waiting van, where they interrogated him for nearly an hour with questions like, "Have you ever been to Oklahoma?", "Do you know how to make a bomb?" and "What is your religion?"
Several days later, Oklahoma police arrested Timothy McVeigh, a white American,..."
By the way the country I'm from, what does it have to do with anything?
forget about it...
Are you using two assumed names on Metacafe?
With regard to your article that you 'cut-n-pasted' - sounds like most of it occurred in Canada - and I can't respond to that - you will have to ask someone from Canada.
As far as the individuals that defaced mosques - those were hooligans and they broke the law - I can not (nor can anyone else) explain why they would do this – can anyone explain the actions of crazes? You can not blame me or any other person that was not involved in these senseless acts. I don't blame you for the 10 or 12 days of destruction in France by Muslims and you should not blame all Americans for the actions of a few hooligans.
As far as official questioning of Muslims, by American law enforcement - there is nothing wrong with that - its call profiling and it is legal for enforcement to "profile" - in fact the FBI invented the scientific concept of "profiling" into law enforcement.
As far as my asking you where you are from. Yes, it does make a difference – in fact, it makes a big difference. I can answer your questions better if I know a little about you. Come on, even when you were in school, surely your teacher would ask the students some questions? You think the teacher was asking just because he/she was curious or do you think the teacher was asking to get a better understanding as to what methods and approaches should be used to teach?

I believe Danny was using the word "illiterate" to refer to someone who is unable to read and/or write. Being illiterate does not necessarily mean that someone is "ignorant"! The word "ignorant" usually refers to someone that lacks knowledge to such a large degree as to be incapable of understanding complex issues.

cloud your judgement. When you are dealing with dirt you are going to get dirty. Ergo, when dealing with extremists the response must also be extreme. An extremist by definition can not be reasonable. Therefore it is impossible to reason with him. Responding to an extremist in terms he can understand does not make one an extremist. It is the nessesary form of communication. Extremism will never win. While extremists pound their chest and punch the air with their fists and fire their guns in the air while stirring each other up to a frothy hate filled mob, millions of other reasonable, rational, intelligent, pragmatic, and practical people are spending the same time going to work designing and building the weapons by the millions which will ultimately annialate the nut jobs to the last man if that is how they want it. All of this can of course be avoided if they simply decide to stop hating.

Asking where you are from is a completely legitimate question and has absolutely nothing to do with the strength of an argument.

It is just sad that those who are in power never apply those fine principles when it comes to the arabs and the middle east.

What a way to walk away from a conversation when you lose your argument! Very cheap!
To answer your question, I am originally from Syria, If that makes any difference
As far as you stating that it is a "trick" for admitting defeat (and your other comment, “What a way to walk away from a conversation when you lose your argument!â€Â). Wrong again (have you ever been right on just one thing?). How could I admit defeat when we haven’t fought but have only exchanged thoughts and opinions? You think too highly of yourself if you think you have “won†anything.
As to your English - it's very, very good, especially since you’re from Syria. It shows that you’re intelligent. However, some of your complex sentences were confusing to me. But that doesn't take anything away from your intellect – we’re just "mis-communicating".
I’m not walking away from a conversation, I merely bored. You want to exchange dialog? Find a subject and say something intelligent and mentally challenging, and I will be more than happy to exchange “wit†with you.
I am not doing a propoganda here. You asked for logical and interesting perspectives on the current israeli-lebanese issue. It is not a case of mis-communication, it goes deeper than that. I have yet to find someone who can really put himself in the shoes of generation after generation of disfranchized and oppressed people. People that, actually, hold nothing but admiration to what American is and what it stands for.
You failed, like many other people that I talked to, to accept or support someone most basic rights - the right to be a human and to be able to live decently.
Your idea of a middle-eastern culture is distorted by years and years of misinfomation and stereotyping. You, my friend, can never be an honest-broker or have an objective stand when it comes to Israel. In your mind, Israel is a powerful army, a strong nation that survived against hostile neighbors. You admire it. You get a kick-out of watching apaches bombing the hell out of lebanon and palestine. And you forget that they are real people dying in the process.
To you and Bush, this mess is just mere "sh8t". To arabs, it is a struggle for survival - another basic instict and most basic right for a human being to have.
Seems to include 1. attacking others when they are not attacking you. 2. using others to do your dirty work. 3. targeting women, children and other non-combatants. 4. being amazed when those you attack strike back. 5. claiming that land taken from you should be returned, but land you took froom others should remain in your hands. 6. An awful lot of whing and crying when you lose.
Sounds like your instincts are at the infant stage. Maybe you need to grow up mentally as well as physically.
1- Israel's hagana is the first to initiate armed struggle against the british and the arabs.
2- We don't use others to do my dirty work. Most arabs are ruled by dictators who are most favored by Israel itself and the US. On of them was actually on CIA's payroll (king hussain) We are helpless against unfair and bloody dictators.
3- Targeting women and children is what israel is doing. Again, you don't expect NOT to have civilian casulties when you bomeb a residential areas No matter how much smart your pilots are or how much smart your bombs are. It is a strategy mastered by the nazis - "if the civilians suffered hard enough they will turn to our side against their masters" And that's what Israel is doing.
4- I ve never been more amazed at Israel striking back. We are used to it. But don't tell me that I dont have a right to fight for what's mine, in this case, the Golan Heights.
5- what lands did arabs take from others? What are you talking about? you bring russian jews who lived in cyberia for genenrations upon generations to claim a land in palestine? what's your proof? the bible said so?
6- whinning? who me? lol. You gotta be kidding me! "arabs are going to push the jews to the sea", "never again", "they are killing us because we are jews"...should I go on?
7- Our bloody arab dictators are the ones who lose, not the arabs. and again, who appoints them?
You don't crap about how mature I am. I will be more than happy to teach you what you don't know about the middle east. Listening to the O'reilly factor will never make you a "professor", professor
There is nothing wrong with that. Maturity is not based on age (and we don't know your age) but on what one does and says. Judging by the things you have writen, I agree with the professor and danny12, you are immature.
Now, there is an alternative. You could be demented. You tell us - which is it? Imature or demented?

I should not have been surprised about your good humor because of a past comment you made, “God bless your Israel but leave my as* out of it please. It is very delicate ;)â€Â
So, now I have a dilemma, as I don't know whether I should dislike or like you. I guess I need to “start over†with my opinion about you, although that will be a bit hard to do because you are somewhat complex to “read and understand†with regard to your position and opinions of world events.
By the way, my calling you immature and/or demented was my way of getting back at you for your earlier comment to me about “you like to incite old farts like me†or something to that tune. Bye for now.
Well, don’t tell me that I am mislead or misinformed. I have number of facts, I am adding common sense to them. I am not trying to influsnse anyone, I saw number of strange comments , so I wrote what I wrote. I did not turn anything around, its how they really are. You have your own opinions and I have mine, however, I am not working for anyone, I am just a normal guy who has a way of thinking and sharing it. If you don’t like what I post, then don’t read. And yeah am sure you have no time because you must go in debates to get well paid ;).
Whether my statement is ludicrous or not (to you). I am sure that most Americans are already embarrassed by Bush, I mean , when you send a representative of your family, and then he acts all stupid in public. I am sure that you feel embarrassed at least at that second or min or hour. Same goes with bush, who got bush In power? Americans, who is bush representing? Americans too. Bush acting stupid? He is embarrassing himself and his country. Unless you are really proud of bush. 90% of the Americans I know say that Bush is making them embarrassed. Well they are being honest so it’s simple. Hell even part of them say that they are ashamed to be Americans. (with all respect to all amaricans and all readers)
I tell you what; Muslims are embarrassed of what Bin laden has done even though that bin laden does not represent Islam, but when he claims that he is part of Islam, it surely doesn’t make Muslims happy. Great number of Germans feels bad that Hitler was once their leader.
Your other comparisons are not even related; Bush is a totally new head case. He is 100% different than other presidents of any other country. What you do as a personal act, that’s a thing, but what you do daily and towards the world nation, that’s a total different thing. So don’t mix things up.
Bush is constantly doing crazy and stupid things, daily. When the person who represent you is a total jerk, and you don’t feel embarrassed, you are either happy with it, or you have no sense :/.
After all you don’t see me chanting for bin laden or shouting death to amarica! Bin laden is against anyone who doesn’t agree with him and I am sure that he will kill me If he gets the chance.. so don’t spread out the word.. heh.
Yeah you might have a point, but an invalid one. I also could go for not only hours, but days.

By L F 1155615608 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHezbollah was established in 1982 for the purpose of utilizing terrorist measures against Israel’s occupation in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah is a Lebanese Islamist group with its overall mission the complete destruction of Israel. Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization by Israel, the United States the United Kingdom and Canada. The European Union does not list Hezbollah as a "terrorist organization", but does list Imad Mugniyah, Hezbollah's senior Intelligence officer as a terrorist. The EU also supports measures aimed at disarming the group.
Hezbollah has been accused of being responsible for the April 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut that killed 63; of being behind the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, a suicide truck bombing that killed 241 U.S. Marines in their barracks in Beirut in October 1983; of bombing the replacement U.S. Embassy in East Beirut on September 20, 1984, killing 20 Lebanese and two U.S. soldiers; and of carrying out the 1985 hijacking of TWA Flight 847 en route from Athens to Rome. It is claimed that Hezbollah had a hand in the terrorist attacks in Argentina in 1990 and 1994: the Israeli Embassy Attack in Buenos Aires and the AMIA Bombing,
Wake up people, this is a very dangerous group. And, more importantly, I hope people realize that the “civilized†segment of the world is at war with terrorism. Terrorist attacks have not been limited just to the USA and Israel, its going on in all parts of the world. We are in a world war against terrorism. Anyone not believing this is living in denial (or is living in lalaland). Look at the list of terrorist groups – Don’t believe me, look it up - Go to http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0908746.html
Those are words coming out from a guy who once said that "men and fish can coexist together". A man who is surrounded by bad adivsors and neo-conservatives. A guy who is more responsible for killing, suffering, and tragedies since Hitler. Yes, you heard it right, since Hitler.
I donnot care much about what he says anymore. All I hope for is that he knows what he is doing. So far, it does not look like he knows what he is doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, or even inside the U.S.
Again, you display your ignorance. You said that Bush has killed more people since Hitler. As always, you give us incorrect statements. You still don’t do any research and it shows by your display of ignorance. You have no facts, you are merely spitting out your non-thinking opinions. Please, in the future, engage your brain before you start typing - you do have a brain?
Saddam Hussein's has been credit with murdering more than ONE MILLION OF HIS OWN PEOPLE (Iraq has only about 22 million people – so, he has killed 4% of his people) Let me type that number again – 1,000,000 of his people murdered by him. Then, there are the deaths from the Iraq/Iran war between 1980 and 1988 (which was launched by Hussein) – 500,000 on Iraq’s side and 300,000 on Iran’s side. So, the total for Hussein is about 1.8 million deaths. The deaths in the war in Afghanistan and Iraq is nothing like Hussein’s numbers.
Needless to mention that Iraqi-Iran war was a CIA war. Chemical weapens that Saddam used against his own people were supplied by a special convoy led by, noone other than Donnald Rusmfeld.
The 200,000 Shiits that you are talking about were murdered in the South of Iraq after the second Gulf-war were murdered when Bush the father let Saddam's gunships fly free in the no-fly-zone.
You have the brain and you should have noticed that I donnot have a sympathy toward bloody dictators like Saddam Hussain. But it is sad when the world's most powerful nation and the land of the free is now ruled by a man with a twisted mind much like the enemies that he is claiming to protect us from.
Mr. Brain, read this statistics:
Iraqi's death toll = 100000 and neo-conservatives estimate is 45,000. Some claim 200,000 and counting. Now it averages 100 civilian/day now
Afghanistan = 3700 to 5000
American soliders = 2500
American civilians = 3000 on 9/11 which is also Bush's fault if not his own doing (key in "loose change" on google to see for yourself)
Lebanon = 1/2 million displaced and 526 killed (all civilians)
Chechnya's death toll also mounted when Bush turned the other way on them so he could get Russia's support.
North Korea is stronger than ever and if it attacks the rest of the world, millions will die.
Iran will have a nuclear bomb soon.
And you, Mr Brain, want to celebrate these accomplishments
I too can "cut-n-paste" garbage-canned propaganda from the internet and continue to do so until the day I die. Your posting is meaningless and worthless because you are blaming Bush for many things that he had nothing to do with. I cannot take credit for this but I also cannot agree with it more: If the terrorists lay down their weapons and return the Israeli soldiers, we would have peace. If Israel lays down their weapons, we would have another Holocaust. That is the bottom line. Any amount of violence committed against Israel by Hezbollah, Hamas or any other militant group will always be justified by them in reference to 1948 when Israel took their land. Yes, Israel displaced thousands of Palestinians and that was not right. That is over now, but never for those people. The only thing they will accept is the destruction of Israel and that is why Israel can never abandon their weapons.

I'm not american, don't care about bush, and i think he's right. Give the soldiers back. And any country should be able to keep their citizens in line.
if they're not the army they should not be creating international trouble.
Militant groups suck
The solution is so simple and easy. Israel has said, "just give us back the two soldiers." But Hezbollah said "stick it in your ear" because they don’t care how many innocent men, women, and children get killed. They just don’t give a rat’s a s s!
People have to understand and recognize the groups that are evil (and insane). The evil groups are the cowards who hide behind innocent men, women, and children to stay out of harms way. The evil groups are the cowards that brainwash someone mentally challenged and have them sneak into a restaurant to set off a bomb killing themselves and innocent men, women, and children.
And, these terrorist groups are not just after America and Israel, they want to kill every single man, woman, child, and baby that doesn't have the same beliefs and values that thay have. Do all the rest of the people in this world want to either join them or be killed? Do you people like these two choices?
the Lebanese government should have immediately arrested or destroyed hezbollah militants for starting a war with another country.
The goverment is supposed to be in charge of the country, not militants, criminals or terrorists. Since they refused to do the right thing they should expect that Israel will do it for them. There would be fewer civilian deaths if the Lebanese government did their job instead of forcing Israel to do it for them. hezbollah, hamas, islamic jihad, al qaeda and other militant / terrorist groups all need to be stomped and destroyed by good people in every country in order to maintain a safe civilized world for everyone.

By professor yuks 1153486365 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou're comparing apples to oranges!
While in theory your statement can be seen to make sense, but it lacks "context." You can't compare (in context of who should be trusted) a murdering nazi dictator bent on world domination responsible for the ethnic cleansing of millions of innocent people, to a free democratic benevolent government like Israel, or any other Western government (in the here and now, today) It is certainly understandable that people who live in countries with repressive, dictatorial, terrorist regimes should be cynical and suspicious of their governments, but to apply that same negative outlook towards free democratic benevolent goverments who know best how to keep their people, country and the world safe free and civilized, seems backwards and irrational to me. I guess it's like saying that we should all be just as suspicious and distrustful of Sweden, Norway and Canada (for example) as we are of North Korea, Iran and Syria. I guess in theory, anything is possible, but in reality it doesn't make sense (to me)
too much to point out to you how our own leaders have "led us down the garden path" so I'll just mention a few to refresh your memory: Nam, Watergate, Iran-Contra, WMD's and these are just the ones we know about. To me, trusting any politician is like dating a hooker. Sooner or later you're going to get screwed. it's just a question of how much it's going to cost you. The leaders of the countries you mention sell the same bill of goods to their people "we're doing what's best for our country". You don't really think those poor boobs would fight that hard for something they don't believe in.

Olmert is a sneaky leader, and I really preferd Sharon as our leader, but things happned and now he's our prime minister, he might be sneaky and steal money from the country, but he won't kill innocent people.
By the way, thanks for the supporting USAILL.
your country's position in this matter. In fact, if you've seen my other posting, I support it. What I am questioning in your country, my country, or any other country is the dangerous idea of blindly supporting a leader or group of leaders simply because" they must know what they're doing". Even if they do, it's not always what's best for your country. The old statement that "power corrupts" is not only valid, but unfortunately corruption can often lead to power. When people stop questioning, they hand the controls over to whoever manages to seize them and that's a RX for another Adolph, and the idea that "It Can't Happen Here" is its incubator.
By professor yuks 1153514877 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhat's are the leader plans, because he will always hide something from the citizens, but if we won't trust our leaders so what all of the leaders thing worth?
Maybe we don't need a leader, maybe we can just manage our country without any person in the head of it, but it definitely won't be the same.
Our country needs a leader that will always know what to do in any situation, if the country was leaded by the citizens we could never know how to act.
That's why we always should trust our leaders untill we see something is wrong in their leading.
I know your supporting my country, and I appreciate it as well, but I'm sure our government will do the best thing for the country, and I'm trusting them to end this war as fast as possible.
Even the best of us can be fooled. "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance".
I can only add to that, that you must not be afraid to admit you were wrong. The biggest problem the US has today is that once a man is elected to the US legislature his chances of being re-elected are 90%. Come on! Nobody with a brasin cell believes that 90% of the birds we got in there are the best that can be found. But we get lazy, we don't keep on top of what these guys do, we don't bother to vote at all, we refuse to admit we may have been wrong in who we voted for the first time, and all of that adds up to begging for trouble. The real miracle of the US is that some SOB hasn't takenb advantage of our complacency to set up a dictatorship that would make Stalin look like Mary Poppins.
he belives what the government tells him.. This is a guy who just pulled his head out of his behind, never seen a news report on tv about the death in lebanon, never seen the sun shinning after his last hang-over..
but he is here to tell us that is "it is all good"
Go back to sleep man!
Are you from Europe? You sound like someone who lives far away from the middle east, I know the situation in Lebanon, and I've saw with my own eyes how it happnes;
First, a Hizbollah member is launching a rocket from a civillian neighborhood's building to north Israel, 20 mins after that Israel's air force air strikes the building that the Hizbollah's member is launching the rockets from, because we're so advanced, our bombs destroys half of the neighborhood, I really feel sorry for those who died because of the air strikes, but you can't blame Israel in defending herself!
Hizbollah is the one who should be blamed for Lebanon situation, surely not Israel.
Bush speaks nothing but the truth. It may be largely undecipherable, but it is the truth. Not since the days of our beloved Richard Outhouse Nixon has there been a man of higher standards and such unquestioned incorrupability. That's why he's so respected and beloved world wide. And that's why no one would ever, ever think of making fun of him.

By professor yuks 1153379968 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveStand strong, my Israeli friend. I have stood "in the gap" with Israel since my visit in 1994. And since that trip, I’ve been doing extensive reading and research on Israel because I’m addicted to Biblical prophecy since studying Revelation some 30 years ago. Although I’m a Christian, I have Jewish friends because we don’t allow our beliefs to interfere with our friendship.
By Big Prick 1153981425 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat conversation was staged. Yea like they just forgot they were mic'd up and the world was listening. It was most likely a stunt to convince the lebanese gov that the they are not being blamed. They knew an unoffical "private" comment that people think was not supposed to be heard, would get better air time and would be held as more credible then any public comment. Nothing wrong with that, just sayingn this conversation was most likely staged and the profanity was just good ol' bush improv.

ISRAEL SUCK
is what happens when governments don't control their own criminals.... the country that was attacked will have to do it for them. This is as it should be.
By bumble 1153354664 Reply Spam [+2] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTHESE are the comments that are worth reading. Lebanon looked the other way when Hizbollah decided to stay and they are doing it again even though they are solely and directly to blame for the current violence. The most valiant and correct thing for Lebanon to do would be to go kick the shit out of Hizbollah and say "enough is enough". Why won't they do that?!

worst president ever!
now every1 knows about them.they are both against the arabs
it time for war guys we should go and fight those to bastards even if i only have a sling-shot
It looks like it might be us or them. In reality, that is what these radicals want...unfortunately for them, if the US was able to exercise all of their military force, the radicals would have no chance.
By USAILL 1153340703 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe president said a bad word, we are all going to to hell now, lol
Come on people, Its just like when clinton got caught getting head by fat women, who gives a shit

Remembering the summit,George bush said FUCK the world, The USA will continue to kill the ozone layer because industry depends on it.
Perhaps it's so he can tax fresh air (if you have any left over there!) ;-)
For those freaks who think that this is not worth being news, you are totally idiots.
When the biggest terrorist in the whole world says that Hizbullah should stop their shit, then he is making it clear that he is backing up the Israeli terrorists.
You should admiy it that the US and Israel r the source and essence of terrorism. They r just using modern technologies and they r nothing more or less than killers of children in Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine. More than half a million iraqies have been killed, more than a thousand civilians in lebanon have also been killed in a month, not to mention the destruction of cities.
Well, do these modern technologies justify killing others?
.

If he hadn't been so anxious to go after Sadaam for personal reasons, we'd be able to do something other than talk about N. Korea and Iran.
BTW I suppose you heard he used his FIRST veto in the five+ years he's been in office to veto scientific research that could save thousands of lives. Oh, yeah - he de man!
I have done some research on Rice and found that, prior to going into politics, she had very strong ties to Chevron. I did some additional research and I believe I discovered the “real†reason for invading Iraq and it wasn’t because of WMD.
So, what we (USA) now have is a seriously huge mess. We have stretched all of our resources to fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq and now, that we know who our real enemies are, we can do very little. Someone (probably a very well-healed, rich, influential group) has been leading Bush around like a puppet. I can tell the strain is getting to him. Have you noticed how often he has to stop and pause to think between words when giving a speech?
PS: Have you ever heard of the invisible government?
Bush forever!
