  • that is not teh conventional wisdom

    conventional wisdom is to conect Poz to dead batt then poz to good batt then neg to good batt and neg to dead car ground (not batt). This eliminates possibilty of cables touching and sparking after being connected to hot car. Although her way works, I am surprised she didnt stress the importance of not letting the cables touch each other.

  • All wrong and extremely dangeraous

    First you connect positive (red) on both cars then negetive. The dangerous part of connecting positive and negative on one side is that the other end of the cables could come in contact and you probably would see some "stars"
