    they are not doing anything productive all they are doing is making headlines about how they endangered one of their own and then blame'd sumone else about it. i wonder what my car says about me...21.5 feet 5miles per gallon 6600pounds,all i know is i could probably drive through 6 japanese cars before i started to slow down i call that a safe car not economic

  • Greenpeace does go on a bit

    Greenpeace goes on against the use of 4x4 in the modern world and the effect our climate made by pollutants being thrown out my engines and other machinery, when in reality they are using landrovers and similar to help there cause in the third world

    a friend once recomended the use of a new smart car "does 45+ mpg" he said my answer, "thats great, but it can only take 2 people half a dog and 1 bag of shopping, a decent land rover 110 does barely <25-30mpg, but you can get upto 14 people into it and still be able to drive up a hill, NOW tell which is the most economical!!

    Another issue then raised was of fuel prices in the UK we pay (if your lucky) 94p per litre meaning an almost £5.00 Gallon, the latest report i've heard from the US is complaints about a $2.00 Gallon, hang on, (so thats £1 = $1.87 and $1 = £0.53) meaning thats US = £1.06 per Gallon, WOW thats CHEAP and UK = $9.39 per Gallon. COMPLAIN about that!!

    Fuel effeciency stereotypical british say 30mpg, Majority US vehicles 5-10mpg. Until the US fuel pricing goes UP and the US becomes ALOT MORE effecient there is no point in making our tiny corner of the globe a 'green' environment.

    And don't get me started on the toyota prius (for those who wish to argue)

  • Global warming is a global crock of glob...

    The earth has cooling and warming cycles since the beginning of time. How long have meteorologists been keeping recorded temps? For the last 100 years or so? Scientists were predicting in 1974 that we were entering an ice age. They can't even get the weather forcast right for next week. I have read that other planets are warming. Why would this be? Too many martians in their spaceships? If earth is indeed getting warmer, could it be due to something as simple as the sun burning hotter...something that we cannot fix?
