This is truly amazing footage from a camera mounted on the Discovery Shuttle's rocket booster. Watch in real-time as the shuttle launches, seperates and then we fall back down to earth with the rocket booster; landing in the ocean. Amazingly, the whole journey is over in about 5 minutes.

  • F**king great!!!

And the music was good also! I think it would be better if the rocket had no parachutes,to make the dive even cooler. Post more like this one!

  • Caught this ...

on my TiVo, without the music, and from the other SRB as well which had a camera pointed forward from the bottom. What gets me is, those things had to BROADCAST the whole time! Great launch today (9/9) as well. I do love the view from the tank! Lets me live vicariously through something I can never do. Thanks!

  • Argh Indeed

I'm sure the music isn't to everyone's taste; but I wouldn't have done it if I didn't like it. I think it really adds to the drama of the film.

For anyone who agrees with Reality101, you can watch the original film (without sound) at:
