The Flanker would not get within fifty miles of a raptor before being plugged with an amraam. Not to mention all the flankers maneuverability is useless in a dogfight because it drains the planes energy levels. Today, air to air engagements are determined by a pilot's first look, first shoot, and first kill capability. In every area that matters the Raptor totally outclasses the flanker in every way imaginable. The Flanker is a fourth generation jet that is quickly becoming irrelevant in the global arena.

The Craptor (I mean) Raptor is OVERRATED!

Let's face it, Russian fighter planes are best in the world. Also, the Russians use Plasma Stealth technology, they are VERY hard to detect, it is a veritable 'Cloaking Device' str8 out of Star Trek! Go Russia!

Why don't you listen to the countless interviews that NATO pilots from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic say. They fly both western and Russian planes, and say that in the area that matters American planes outclass their Russian counterparts almost always. Also, your "star trek" theme doesn't hold air in reality. Russia can't even afford to purchase the upgraded Mig 29, let alone the prototyped Su-37 Flanker F, let alone your supposed star trek plane. But then again people like you don't know, or care about facts.
