The deer was in a shock when the guy fired the first bullet. He stayed immobile during the second shot, and was still in a state of shock. The third shot brought it back to consciousness and then it ran away.

ok for starters, he hit the same place with the first TWO Shots....Why He Couldnt have adjusted for the distance that the sites were off i will never know, Second of all, Where Is He Hunting That A Deer Will Give U 3 broad side shots before it runs off, Around my area you rarely get more than a running broadside shot, and third, just give me the gun cause any real hunter knows you always fire atleast one round before hunting season to make sure your scope is still sighted properly as just riding around in a vehicle can jar them off on occasion, One Word ROOKIE

Looks more like...
...the sights were off and the marksman (and I use the term loosely) failed to adjust after the first two shots were off by almost the same exact margin.

In other words, this guy wasn't too bad in the aiming department. Not so great in the maintenance of his weapon...
