A short but complete guide for hacking any linux machine in just 30 seconds.
Basic entry level, 101 stuff common to the most junior of administrators. not a hack..nobody is hacking anything..stupid rabbit
By searsno 1289836663That is good if you at the computer but if you password your bootloader with md5crypt but then you can use a live CD to hack in. But if the hard drive have encryption on it all bets or off!
By Darfire 1248899121How this qualifies as a hack is beyond me. How many Linux machines worth getting into do you have physical access to? Try posting something about getting root privileges on a remote system and I may be impressed.
By vorondil 1238133706This is basic 101 lessons in Linux. Happy to see someone's learning...
Sorry to see you think this is a "hack".
Now, find an exploit that gives you remote access to a Linux box, and then you might have something.
Local access == a joke.
Nice trick but it's not a hack
linux community left this vunerability on purpuse cause they dont want you (if you forget your root password) to boot from cd (or chroot from another system) and mess around with the /etc/shadow file.
PS. Sorry for my bad english
