A pilot show I produced for TV on the halibut fishing around the islands of Røst and Værøy in Lofoten Norway. The waters here are shallow and warm due to the gulfstream, and that has something to do with attracting the biggest halibut in the world (202kg and it was actually landed there in 2008).
The islands are special for fishing anyway and haul in tens of thousands of tons of Cod which are processed as dried fish and exported around the world. The show contains an insight into this as well as the fun, the midnight sun and even a few killer whales.
The show is in 3 parts for Metacafe.
