After the loss of his primary source of income from carpentry, he started working fulltime on this GEET idea - Blending the exhaust fumes containing heat and carbon-dioxide with water and synthesize a fuel out of it, a technically impossible dream, using a steel rod, which he called "Plasma Electrode". The name Endothermic Reactor was so named for this quest to create the ultimate holy grail in energy.

One of GEET's claim is that this will allow a car to run for 100 to 120 miles on a single gallon of gas. Some believers of this technology have reported 80 to 82 miles(but none of them verifiable or demoed to any scientists or engineers)

GEET is also manufactured as SPAD in FRANCE and other european countries with some modifications.

Global Environmental Energy Technology (GEET) is a composition of unique fuel system components that allow an internal combustion engine's fuel efficiency to be increased substantially while dramatically reducing its toxic & greenhouse gas emissions by 90 % or more. Individuals have reported a 20% to 800% increase in fuel efficiency. The toxic exhaust reductions are so extraordinary that there have even been reports of GEET modified engines running for hours inside closed rooms with many people present without any known ill effect to person, plant or animal.

GEET allows the by-products of combustion to be recycled back into the intake of the internal combustion engine through a system of unique components.
Basic components are as follows:
1. A GEET modified carburetor
2. The GEET reactor chamber
3. The "Air Mix Valve" (AMV)
4. The "Bubbler"
5. The bubbler control mix valve

All that GEET needs is water to run the engine. The process is simple:
Combusted gasses are introduced into the GEET outer/exhaust reactor chamber causing a voltage build-up in the chamber. The voltage build-up also has its associated magnetic field. The combined exhaust and bubbler [fuel/air mixture (primarily water and exhaust gasses)] components entering the inner/intake chamber of the reactor chamber pass through this same electro/magnetic field and are recombined into a combustible mixture and subsequently re-induced back into the engine via the modified GEET carburetor. The bubbler control valve controls the mixture of exhaust gasses returning to the engine and the Air Mix Valve (AMV) controls the amount of fresh air added to the reactor mixture returning to the engine.

per the news article referred to above, the theory behind this contraption violates 2 out of 3 laws of thermodynamics and law of relativity. Paul counters that argument saying that 'science is the enemy of progress'.

Tests conducted at Shell Emission labs and financed by the newspapers who have bought this story shows that a single engine lawn mower GEET produces as much pollution as a six cylinder engine and torque about half(This may be noted from the same Marin Indepedndent Journal report referred to above)
