    In water moving that fast and that deep, the water would have gone into the air intake causing the engine to fill with water and die. Why do you think that the Army has snorkels for their vehicles? They have them for just such an occasion.

    The truck had a compressed air tank and a sealed intake to allow it to drive in water rushing into the engine compartment. I guess you girls don't know a whole lot about engines.

    but i say he was not very smart and lucky. even the veteran drivers would say in that current he was lucky it wasnt pushed downstream and or flipped
