Disgusting or an aquired taste?
Very interesting. I must admit to anyone who was not raised on these types of foods it would seem disgusting to them, however, my culture eats things that look disgusting to others but is very delicious. And yes it is an acquired taste. Thanks for sharing.

Weird but interesting...
I am up for trying new things, but chicken feet!!!Never!The crab and Toad will be awesome when cooked by a chef, but yeah, for all that other stuff, I'll rather have my nice piece of steak!Then I feel save!!Hahaha

  Crab - delicious. Frog - not bad if nicely cooked. Some of the other things are also not too bad. Just looks strange and not very appetizing too us.

Men that brings back memories.
I have been in thailand, phillipines, korea,yokosuka and others. The diversity of foods is amazing and you find yourself trying new things. Thanks for bring ing back those memories.

  I know, but I remember the first time I came to Taiwan and walked into a supermarket I was dumbfolded by how different the things are than in my home country South Africa. We will never have things like hearts, stomachs, frogs or chicken feet in our supermarkets. So, I guess it is just strange for some Westerners.

Toads !!
Yuk !! One Chinese friend in Taiwan tricked me and said it's chicken and when I asked what the little bones were - they told me what it realy was - FROGS!! Does taste like chicken though, which makes me worry about all the chicken I've had in Taiwan before !! Yikes !!

  I have eaten dishes of worms, scorpions, frogs and other insects. Dont have good footage of it though, and you cant really buy those kinds of insects in well known stores like these.
