Bath, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's most beautiful cities. It is set in a valley in the west of England and has the majestic River Avon flowing gently through it. In the 18th Century, Bath was Britain's most popular SPA town and it is even now, still full of elegant, gracious Georgian buildings constructed in beautiful hone-yellow stone. The secrets of its famous waters were first exploited by the Romans. Today, the baths they built are among the finest Roman baths remaining in Europe with a pool that's still full. And don’t forget to have a taste of the waters for yourself in the 18th Century Pump Room. Elsewhere the city offers numerous museums, art galleries and Britain's oldest theatre - the Theatre Royal. Bath is also an excellent shopping centre. Additionally, Bath makes an ideal base from which to visit places such as the spectacular Wookey Hole Caves, the beautiful Cheddar Gorge caves and Longleat Safari Park, home to the Marquess of Bath and the famous Lions of Longleat.
Campus:
Set in extensive grounds on the northern side of Bath, a World Heritage City, our PLUS centre is located in The Royal High School, the leading school for girls in the area. New facilities at the school include a sports hall, music centre, additional laboratories, and ICT suites. The school is particularly proud of the completely refurbished boarding house which offers modern, comfortable and spacious accommodation with great ICT, cooking and recreation areas. The Campus is self contained and all facilities (residences, classrooms, common rooms, sports facilities and sport fields), are within walking distance. The Town Centre can be easily reached by bus which stops right in front of the School.
