....this would be our 2nd day in 'paradise', on a vacation that was to last a total of 7 days...90 MPH winds that ripped anything that was not bolted to the ground to shreds. the entire island of turks & caicos was shut down by this point, and the hotel management was not allowing anyone to leave the hotel property anyway...the only food available was that of the resort's '5 Star Resturante', at which a plate of food averaged $100 bucks...needless to say, we were stuck in a 'million dollar prison.'
