  The wood used at these contests is pulp spruce, and the scrap wood from the sculptures are recycled. You probably wiped with this tree.

- No waste in my opinion
  It is artwork. Is not like they make hundreds of wooden eagles every day. Compared with all of us cleaning a mess with a bunch of napkins instead of a mop because of laziness.
  Although it would be good if the remaining chunks are also used to make smaller sculptures.
