Pro-Abortion Voter Fraud in South Dakota

From Operation Rescue South Dakota Abortion Group Caught On Tape Encouraging Voter Fraud
Sioux Falls, SD - A pro-abortion group, the Campaign for Healthy Families, was caught on tape admitting to voter fraud and encouraging others to engage in the illegal practice for the purpose of influencing the vote on Measure 11, the South Dakota abortion ban.
A man who wants only to be known as "Eduardo" visited the Souix Falls office of the Campaign for Healthy Families on October 20, 2008. There he was told that CFHF director Chris Cassidy, a resident of Oakland, California, was going to vote in the November election then return immediately to California. Eduardo was then told he could do the same thing even though he would be returning to his home in Riverside, California, immediately after the election.

This practice is illegal. Voters registering to vote in South Dakota must attest under penalty of perjury the following: "I actually live at and have no present intention of leaving the above address." Violations are punishable by up to two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.)

"This fraud casts a shadow of suspicion on the election outcome," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

"First the ACLU bussed in activists from other states to influence the people of South Dakota, now we find out that some of the outsiders are actually trying to rip off the election from the people of South Dakota by voting illegally," said Newman. "We call on the authorities in that state to fully investigate the so-called Campaign for Healthy Families and charge those who are attempting to illegally steal the election."
