  that's a very good deterrent. I've heard where people put NRA decals on their windows even if they aren't a member because a burglar will think twice if they may be entering a home where they may get blown away and might not come out alive.

  Are a damn good deterent, but decals dont work. i come from a state where everyone in my city has a gun, Robbers know breaking into our homes means they can and will get shot. Giuun laws designed to allow americans to have guns is the best defence but not perfect. First we need to implement gun safety classes into all our schools. The NRA offers schools free course but many schoold wont allow them to teach. We need to change that. Kids need to be taught to respect guns and tht difference between a toy and the real thing.

  beause I know the Medeco locks are extremely hard to bump or pick. People do need to know this stuff.

I am a locksmith
this is a technique i use often. However it does not work everytime and you do need a whole set of 'tap keys' one for each make/model of lock. It is often quicker just to pick the lock.

yeah..
there is debate about whether putting stuff like this on TV makes people safer (because they know about it) or less safe (because more bad guys know).
