    It made me sad to watch this. I'm from Canada and would like to extend my sympathies to our American neighbors for what happened on that tragic day.

    I'm watching this again and the worst part is that the fireman was trying is best to reach that poor guy and he ended up losing is life as well. I wouldve lost my mind working at 9-1-1 like that woman and being on the phone with all these people til the end.

    I finally got Metacafe's video clips to work and this is the first time to hear the recording of the last call from the towers.

    Sorry about the expletives but that was my first reaction after hearing him say, "oh God!" This clip had the same effect on me as the time (on Sept 11) I saw firsthand people jumping from the towers. One in particular I will never forget was a man and woman that jumped holding hands.

    That effect was chills, goose bumps, anxiety, rapid heart beat, and a feeling that I could easily be the (no pay) executioner of any terrorist directly or indirectly involved with the September 11, 2001 attacks.

    Rest in Peace you 2,973 people plus the 24 that are missing but presumed killed.

    For the 19 hijacker terrorists that also died - burn in hell you f.u.c.kers.

    Got to ask why!.

    Why this happened and what it gained for anyone. Only more death and disater has followed. Hope the other articles that suggest there was more too it than just a plane disaster are wrong.

    Why with the little weight to the top floors and no damage to lower floors did it all come down?? Just doesn't make sense. Surely part of it would have gone sideways.

    Absolutely gutted for all the people that lost there lives. I only hope their friends and relatives get the "truth" one day.

      if the towers were brought down by an explosion then why does the tower fall on itself from the top floors and NOT from the bottom as you'd expect from detonations from the ground floors?

    What I really don’t understand about 9/11 is the way the towers and also the 3rd building fell down, so fast like if nothing was holding the building at all, and all of them the same way, they say the fire weaken the steel but I didn’t see any fire in the bottom part of the buildings, and everything was pulverized so fast, just like when they do in controlled demolition. In a matter of seconds the buildings were gone, I've seen pictures of high buildings burned completely for a much longer period of time and not collapse. Think about it.

      The fires you are refering to, that caused the collapse, started when the planes struck the tower. The intensity of the heat caused the structural integrity of the towers to break.

      The way the towers were constructed is why and how they fell. The design was such that the weight of the floors was evenly distributed over many anchor points.

      When the planes, stuck the fuel sprayed and ignited everywhere. It started more fires from paper, walls, electrical wiring....etc etc.

      Finally after about an hour the heat was too much for the anchor points and, because of the cummulative weakening of thousands of these points the weight of the floors above the airplane's impact point caused the upper floors to fall straight downward upon themselves.

      Notice the falling starts FROM the top....not from the bottom. Nor is the middle part of the tower falling UNTIL the weight and collapse of the upper floors reaches the lower floors.

      All I can say is THANK GOD Bush and his cabinet were in office on 9-11.
