what aload of crap, iv taken engine out in my time , and what about the drive shaft , from the gearbox, if u look there and engine in the back of car

any specific reason why I can't watch this video in Ireland?

There are much more than unbolting and rebolting the Engine and Transmission.

They may not have even had exhaust hooked up, and no way they had radiator lines and probably not even an alternator.They might have had quick connect axles and motor mounts for it.

This car was greatly modified in order to do this.Now if you want a REAL contest, there are guys that change VW Beetle(AND NOT THE FAKE ONES)engines and thats an ongoing competition.

fuel hose? radiator hose? exhaust? gearbox? battery? and many other thing? no need? totally BS

This thing is going to loose its hood going down the road. What about things like coolant for the engine and A/C for the people inside. Its like--WHATS THE POINT?. Maybe I'll set the world record for putting shoe laces on a pair of shoes, only I'll just place the laces through one eyelet each lace.

they must have made engines as easy to put in and out as playing with legos. And that whole car must have been simplified, plus its FWD so everything is in the front, and with five guy who've been doing this in there sleep for 2 weeks I think they could put in a fuel line, plug in a battery, and hook up a probaly simplified transmision, because thats ALL you need to get a car to go that distance.

I didn't see any tools. How did the guy under the car tightened the engine? with his fingers....lol
It takes me 30 mins just to install the water hose both ways..lol

this was totally staged and the doesn't really make sense. Nothing was connected the way a normal job would require. What about the powertrain system, fuel system, electrical system...I bet that car would fall apart once it went down the road. Watch my video if you want to see a REAL engine swap in one minute.

I think they had it rigged up to work the minute they connected certain key points. Its not a normal engine swap of course.

it takes a bit to get the new engine filled with oil and gas before it will actually ignite and run on it's own. Not long, but longer than this video showed.
