They actually do not change the dress.
If you see closely you will see that red is actually white & green is also white,....

I have several possible explanations...

1. Like you said a white dress can be used along with external lighting to change the colour. This though seems possible but unlikely.

2. The clothing can contain fabric switching. Simply pull a string and connected fabric switches from one side (colour) to the other (different colour).

3. The most easy explanation is when the cover goes down over her head that a dress inside the cover goes down over her. It is also possible on the up direction but harder and would involve pulling a string to tighten around the body.

4. The twin. Only possible during the final section where twins can switch places. I will also have to rewatch to see if she ever moves behind the large one when that would allow a twin switch. It is also possible for this structure to hide more women but triplets are less likely.

5. Real magic or super speed woman. ;-) Ok maybe not....
