This is a electonic whiteboard that I made from an infrared led pen, a projector, a wii remote.and a computer.
(Thanks Chris for helping with the IR pen)

I just bought an infrared led pen from a wii teacher website for 8$ and it works great! And it looks much better than the one in this film

- Hmmm...
  I don't know how much success you'll have with something as demanding as a FPS; it seems like your whiteboard has a bit of latency, maybe 350ms or so, which could cause fast-paced games to be quite frustrating. Also, it doesn't seem to be perfectly accurate, but that could be solved with a more professional IR pen, who knows.
