The Most Strange Crop Circles

until i saw yours, its so obvious that is human made creation and the artist/s responsible will be the greatest artist ever known, not just for the intricate designs but becuase of the major contraversy these 'crop circles' have made.

Over 80% of the crop circles in the UK are a proven hoax. The only ones that look convincing can be expressed as an anomaly and honestly, they look really, really crappy, unlike the more advanced shapes that the pranksters made. One guy got a noble peace prize for his crop circle hoaxing. There's even a company that goes around making these crop circles for movies and advertisements (circlemakers.org).

yes though some easily could be abd I even tend to think a few of those pics were computer graphics. National, Geographic, History Channel, Nova and Discovery channel all of whom have done extensive investigations into these came up inconclusive on some crop circles. Some simply could not have been done without it taking months to complete. Yet the farmers who have had this happen said they were done overnight. Plus strange residue has been found in some circles. With the same chemical compunds found at supposed UFO landing sites.

I dont know if you meant your answer as a joke or not but I take offense to it. I grew up on farms and these farmers and Scientist are not the idiots you seem to think us to be. yes I cannot spell worth a S**t But Watch the History Channels UFO Hunters. Watch the Discovery channel and the NG Channel. All of them admit that some of the chemicals found were of unknown origin They brought in a bunch of scientist who were bigger skeptics then you are and even they were admitting that some of these Circles could not have been done over night or without waking the farmers. And these same skeptic found traces of chemicals that they could not explain. Remember a lot of scientist went to college. So many know the difference between beer and urine and a chemical of unearthly origin.

These farmers that have this happening to them sleep with guns by their beds ready to shoot anyone they see in their fields ruining their crops. Some of them have been known to shot first and ask questions later. Quite a few now sleep in shifts and keep an eye on their fields. Deeply afraid that their crops will be ruined by these things making the crop circles.

I come from a farming community that does just that. I knew one kid whose head was blown off by a farmer because he was riding his snowmobile across his field and scaring his cows. So I Know for a fact that if these farmers found a bunch of kids ruining their families income. That they would be filling some college kids asses with buckshot and rock salt. but instead all they find is lights flying strange patterns over their fields. Some of the farmers have reported shooting at these lights but to no effect. Sorry but one of the fields that had one of these crop circles is owned by a family member.

Are you serious? This is probably the most dis-proved hoax yet. We've even had the perps on TV telling us how it was done. I give up some people will go to any lengths to get a little publicity. Or maybe just a sad life...

True but remember for the longest time Zebra were considered horse until we found out they were actually mules. The point is we found it out thru thorough research. Thorough researchers have admitted that some of these crop circles have them mystified as to how they were made and admited they could not be made by human and the farmers themselves have stated if they find anyone out there doing these thing that they will be shot. Farmers simply lose more money when these things are done. It is hurting their income. It is not making them richer. but in fact it has made many go broke.

There are some noted differences between 'hoax' circles and 'authentic' circles.

One of those being the stalks from authentic circles are bent and sometimes even interwoven. Planks break many of the stalks and definitely don't weave them.

Also, two of the most famous 'hoaxers', Dave Chorley and Doug Bower, who claimed they created crop circles as a joke, admitted they indeed didn't, and one even admitted that they believed there was a real phenomenon behind some of them.

Also consider the fact that many of them boast complex geometry and are quite large.

And finally, the 'company that goes around making these crop circles for movies and advertisements' do it during the day with a lot of physical planning and line placement, taking quite a while. Not to mention they are much less impressive than a lot of the authentic circles that are done overnight.

First, Dave Chorley and Doug Bower never said "we didn't do it." That's just internet conspiracy theory crap along the same lines of "the government's covering it up." Dave Chorley and Doug Bower admitted to a large number of the crop circles. Of course they weren't the only makers, there were plenty more out there, like John Lundberg.

The majority of these circles are proven false. There are only a handful of potentially authentic ones, and they are not complex nor large in design. The only complex ones are man-made.

They don't take long either. A bunch of MIT students pulled off creating their own crop circle in one single night.

Seriously, it's not that hard. Not to mention all of these images are from circlemakers top circles of 2006 and 2007.

heres the the problem with your answer. The hidtory channel, the discovery channel and national Geographic disagree with your views. They have stated that yes some are hoaxs but not all of them. Yes some of the simple one can be done in one night. But the more complex ones according to thosde three experts I mentioned stated that there was no way anyone could have done many of the complex ones in a single night. And they could not have dont them without the farmers knowing they were there. many of the farmers have dogs. Who would have raised an alarm if there were a bunch of people in those fields or even just a few. many of these complex circles were done in a single night and in most case within a few hours and when something was seen many of the farmers just reported seeing strange lights that woke them up because of their dogs barking. But did not find the circles till the morning. i am sorry but these farmers are not the morons your assuming they are. They can tell the difference between a few college kids playing pranks and strange lights that they cannot explain. They are not a bunch of drunks. They are hard working people who have a lot of common sense. i come froma famil;y that made its living farming. if a farmer says there was nothing but a bunch of strnge lights over his or her fields that night you can bank on their words. These are the kind of people who if they see a bunch of kids prancing around on the fields that keep their kids starving they are going to come out and start shooting at the trespassers.

Foresttre, it'd be nice if you actually read the posts you reply to. I'm spot on with the discovery channel. Discovery Channel leaves it open for both anomalous and man-made crop circles, just as I've said in my previous comments. Yes, there are anomalous circles, and yes there are hoaxes. Of course, I've said this twice already, but your mind is so freakin' one dimensional you cannot grasp that.

First, these "complex" circles you refer to? The authentically anomalous circles are NOT complex in design, but are SIMPLE. Every single circle on this video is made by circlemakers. Of all the unexplained circles caused by an anomaly, NONE of them have a complex design. This video maker literally copied the circlemakers best-of-200X gallery and added creepy music.

Finally, spare me your "you don't know farmers" crap. I'm not questioning their integrity. I'm questioning yours.

First I was not replying to only your comment but also to the ones who were implying that farmers are a majority of Drunks. Your right 80 percent are hoaxs but you did not give percentages. Actually I think that nuber is more like 90 now. but the point I was making was that these farmers hate whoever are doing these circles. They want it to end. They are not stupid just frustrated. Here in the states my cousins will shoot anyone who attempts to flatten their fields as a prank. I was not saying this video was not a fake. if you will look I say in one of my comments that I think a majority of these photos are computer generated.

do u mean the field has two lines on it that goes in a pattern is found in most of these crop circles?

he's saying that the tending lanes that the farmers drive their tractor in is the same pattern in every picture, and he's right, but that doesn't mean the same field, just that all the farmers use the same rig on their tractor. fields in a general region will almost always have the same pattern. In the US, almost every field is a big circle, with a sigle line around every 20 yards or so, because all farmers use the same type of pressure driven automated watering equipment.

Some of the posts imply this is England, which would account for the similar tending marks in every single picture.

So you're suggesting that extraterrestrials travel thousands if not millions of light years to our planet (which they happened to find, and has life on it) to simply confuse us by making patterns in our grass fields???? Man has been to the moon some 39 years ago for godsakes, dont you have faith in the people who are smart enough to pull something like this off???
