Nothing wrong here...
I my self is both a Basejumper and ordinary skydiver. These guys are good. No one died in this clip, and the guy who filmed is "tracking" his way out from the cliff. That is that u form your body like a stick so that u get a speed towards more then downwards. It's really great to basejump, but remember to practice from an ordinary plane before u attempt this sport.

1st guy
the first guy had plenty of time to open his chute. He was out of the cameras field of view pretty high. Everything looks a lot closer than it really is, its just the way your eyes precieve it.

- I do a lot of filming and video's, My e...
  it makes the image or area much futher away than you see in real life.
  I have filmed races, mountains, beaches, tornados, highways, hot air ballons, people and on and on.
  many of the shots I have taken over the years I could not use because what I thought was a perfect shot was to distant ( far away) to use even keeping many from being in the newspapers. It is only a hobby but iot is the angle of the lens that is set up for the average shot for near to background.
  I slowed and framed the video, I don't think the poor guy pulled his D-ring or a catostrophic failoir.

Sky Diving
I jumped 10,000 ft from a plane, ten years ago. The wind velocity is thy worst thing about it. I felt asphyxiated by the force of the air rushing at me. I'm glad I hired a guy to film it. It looks like fun but it's a bit rougher than it looks. I don't regret it!

These are either the guys that perform the stunts for the movies. Or they are the ones we "don't hear about", that conduct "special operations" for the military. Either way, they have the guts to do what not many of us have. My hats off to them.
