I'm pretty sure that if the Servicemen and women were asked, they would prefer not to be entwined in the bloody affairs of countries far from home. The politicians are the ones who start, and subsequently continue, wars / police actions / whatever. The first President, George Washington, warned the fledgling United States against becomes entangled in the affairs of other countries, recommending impartiality and neutrality. Did we listen? Dude- firstly it fuckin sick to think that its OK to invade a country so it doesnt cost you as much to fill up your fuckin red-neck SUV... Secondly- you'd have to be a F**king retard to think that you'll get cheap oil out of this!!!... you think that Oil Companies feel bad about charging you big $$$'s for oil?... the idea is to control the oil. Thats a major reason why Saddam was invaded- he was pumping too much oil and the market was fluctuating far too aggressively- ie. OPEC didnt have control... Now they do- you wont see more oil coming out of Iraq- and a drop in oil prices... thats not the desired outcome... Maintaining high oil prices is the key.. Now, what do they do about Chavez and all his oil...

They won't leave there because the US govt has to then payout too much to rehabilitate them from war related traumas and injuries. It would cost him over a billion to do so, as many will ahev to retire upon returning home. Shock and trauma renders them unemployable and unable to serve again. As did most who returned from Vietnam a few moons ago. Operation desert storm cost him over a billion for such compensations and treatments. The idea is to steal money from others, not pay it out and lose money.
