This is one of the favorite snacks and very popular among young girls in Phnom Penh. They are sold all across town by vendors shouldering a stove and a pot with boiling water stopping at corners to make a brisk sale, and is enjoyed by locals and visiters alike. Here, we have a group of Myanmar girls sitting on the road side at the Water Festival at the riverside in front of the Royal Palace, enjoying the still developing embryo in the egg. The boiled duck eggs at at different stages of embryonic development and are boiled before hatching. The more developed the embryo, the tastier and one can see the veins running across inside of the egg. Just put sauces in, mesh it up and scoop it into your mouth in relish, tender bones, flesh, tiny feathers and all. Yummie!
The Water Festival marks the reverse of the current in the Tonle Sap River, the ushering in of the fishing season and the arrival of thousands of boat racers and millions of spectators in Phnom Penh for the traditional boat racing.

  • The event took place in Phnom Penh

    This would be in Cambodia.
The participants of the video are all Myanmar girls who are my colleagues.
Not one is Thai or has anything to do with Thai. If I had been a Khmer, saying Phnom Penh the capital city of Cambodia is Thai, is an insult.
Please remove this kind of misinformed or uneducated description to my video clip.
