    Two things: First off, that isn't the grandmaster. Second, until you've felt the amount of pain that these techniques can give you have no right to say anything. Anyone who knows anything about martial arts would see the pressure point applications and precise joint manipulations being used. Also keep in mind that practice is different from street application. The amount of ignorance displayed in some of these comments is amazing.

      i am often the demonstration dummy for my class and these moves are incredibly painful and seriously dangerous, there is a mere centimeter difference between being uncomfortable, and having broken limbs when using these techniques. i have only had to use it once, but it was extremely effective.

  • I still remember what I learned

    once you learn the basics of Hapkido which is what is shown It opens up new possibilities. Their are variations of each technique that are more effective and quicker to dislocate but they will not show you that. to learn that you need to learn control. that is why it is banned from competitions.

    you cant really say its crap because you have got to bear in mind these are only demonstrations and they can be adapted to use in a real life situation.
