3.0 for 2008 - Newly Revised Edition Created by Karl Fisch, and modified by Scott McLeod; Globalization & The Information Age. It was even adapted by Sony BMG at an executive meeting they held in Rome this year. Credits are also given to Scott McLeod, Jeff Brenman
Our rate of technological advance grows at an exponential rate. The speed (or pathways) of communication contributes most of these growths. It's the same analogy to our brain. We get smarter not when we have more brain cells, but when there is more connections between the cells. The internet made this all possible, and hopefully our ISP can make our internet better.
By lightblade 1227083306I never thought about it like that, but that is exactly how it works. You can't get more brain cells, but you can improve the connections and thee speed of the connections. Interesting to think that communication makes it all possible. What kind of research could people do with interconnected minds?
