This looks like a piece of (black) carbon of a non magnetic material
that is place in a ceramic type dish with liquid nitrogen poured around it. A magnet is then approached to the object.
Watch closely as the temperature changes something remarkably happens!

How it works
Ceramic, when cooled below -186C, becomes a superconductor. Superconductors exclude approaching magnetic fields. In this vid, this process is demonstrated by cooling a ceramic block with liquid nitrogen until it becomes superconductive and then "floating" a magnet above it.

You can get a complete kit to try this yourself at home from various science supply stores.

- Are you so sure?
  What makes you think you cant? Maybe the liquid nitrogen is not the only option maybe it can be simulated with electrical energy, now it could be possible because it is. There is so much information that is suppressed to the public because they wouldn't be able to handle it too quickly.Imagine showing some of our current technology to someone 200 years ago. How would they react?
