dangerous. There are all kinds of licensing requirements and interlock systems to prevent these high-powered lasers from coming into contact with people's eyes. They are many, many times more powerful/harmful than 'Wal-Mart laser pointers', and you damn well know that. You seem to be all too willing to promote this kind of potentially harmful project to jack up your cash payouts here, and that smacks of a complete lack of principles. Shame on you.
Btw, I don't expect you to leave this comment up for more than ten seconds after you see it, but think about it anyway. This kind of stunt isn't funny.

you've been around here long enough to know that I don't remove comments unless they are profane or defaming. You should also know that I have done this type of video before and I will say it again. Anyone who is skilled enough to pull this off is smart enough to know the dangers of lasers. Some little kid is not going to even know where to start to safely extract a diode, build a circuit, know how to use a multimeter, not burn it out in an instant...etc. And if he/she can, mom and dad ought to be around to supervise hence the 13+ rating. There are far more important things to worry about on the internet and in our own neighborhoods. And yes, I produce videos to earn an income. It's my job.

you, 'dude', so this is my last comment on this thread. A '13+ rating' isn't going to prevent some kids from doing this. I think you know as well as I do how sophisticated kids can be these days in terms of understanding technology, and how far they still are from developing good judgement, even at 13, 14, 15, 16... Of course having all the details, including circuit-diagrams, gives them a head-start.
