Dwight Frye stars as Bill "Monk" Legendre in "Double cross" 1931. Part three.

After Mileaway double crosses Bill Legendre, Louie Ricarno's gang splits into two separate factions- one which supports Louie, under the leadership of Mileaway, and one which has chosen to support Bill. Those who are loyal to Bill attempt to place a hit on Mileaway, but the attempt is a failure.

In the meantime, Bill Legendre, fresh from his escape, is hiding out with a group of petty thieves who are awaiting the arrival of an important and rare statue that they plan to fence. However, Bill has no mind to sit and wait along with them. He has a date with Mileaway to pay him back for his dirty double cross!

After Mileaway's demise, and with Louie Ricarno still in prison, Bill's best girl Lil, who has been waiting for his return, plans to reunite with him and marry, as Mileaway's sudden death causes the warring factions to finally make peace under the leadership of Bill "Monk" Legendre.

Clips seen here include: "Angels with dirty faces" 1938, "The maltese falcon" 1931, "The public enemy" 1931, "Red headed woman" 1932, and "Doorway to hell" 1930. Thanks to Prophetofog for the use of "Doorway to hell".
