ok, they don't pay us for blood, and this commercial is supposed to be a gag. It isn't meant to be taken seriously--it's meant to draw the attention of others. I don't know what everyone has against America, but I personally don't dislike other countries; even Iraq.

America is the most hated country until someone needs to be bailed out. The truly great thing about the US is that we are there to help when the help is needed. DA I hope that you are never in need.

It seems the world's favorite past time is bashing America. America is not a perfect country but one would have to agree that for a county barely 230 years old and of only meager population relative to other countries who've been around for thousands of years it has become a sizable influence on the planet. Although not always appreciated, and certainly not always understood, one would have to agree that the intent of the American people is only to help expand the benefits of freedom that has caused it to flouish to other countries who struggle with tyrants and famine.
Since it's beginning America has always stepped up to the plate to help other countries in times of stife. Over 50,000 of our dead soldier are buried in France after we joined the war to rescue Europe from Hitler. Now, France forgetful and unappreciative bashes us at evrery chance.
Many of us do not like our participation in the war in Iraq, but for all of it's detriments to our servicemen, there can be no doubt Iraq will eventually benefit and despite claims to the contrary, America will have no hold on the oil resources of the country. We ask nothing in return except friendship.
At least America tries. You want to bash someone, bash all those wealthy countries that call themselves neutral and contribute not one cent of effort to help anyone but themselves. Yes, our policy makes us a lightning rod for those jealous of America's quick success as a world power. It's our lot in life. Thanks

ok this is getting annoying. just cuz it sys AMERICAN association of blood banks doesnt mean that we should start a big thing over people hating america and other countries. if u look at this whole thing about a comedic ad about giving blood there are very few that are saying anything about what they saw. its very dissapointing. lets just stop the whole country hate thing now before it gets out of hand if it hasnt already. remember the golden rule. treat others as you wish to be treated

Iraqi are so lucky. Americans help them get democracy. there're alot of countries out there nid help from US to get democracy. for instance, MYANMAR(BURMA). 90% of the population wants democracy. the rest 10% is they dunno wad's democracy. but american will never come to our rescue. we dun have oil. we dun haf weapons of mass destruction. we r not a treat to the other nations. we only torture among ourselves n break some human rights law. may be one day, i'll HATE US for coming so late to rescue my country.

Canada is always there to help. We send our troops to help out in peace missions and the Canadian Red Cross is always there to help out when diaster strikes regardless of the country. Even USA. ie: New Orleans. (Please refrain from responding with stupid war comments). We are a peaceful nation.

Well WTF? every time there is any type of disaster in any country Who is the first country in to help?? not the Brits, Scotts, Russians. The US is we are there with rescue crews, money, food, supplies and all you can do is bitch. Which country even offered to help when New Orleans Flooded?? Britain did after a week. So F@#K ya all I hope we stop helping out everyone then you will really have a reason to complain

The US is the only country on the planet who was able to mount operations from the sea and delivered tons of food, water and medical supplies as soon as the fleet was in range.
Plus the millions of DOLLARS donated by not only the US Government but also the millions the regular folks who kicked in out of their own pockets.
U is a fine example of people who hate America until they're in trouble and then hate America because they say it never does enough.
U is right America needs to keep it's money, food and medicine at home and for it's allies and let those that hate us fend for themselves.

We don't stand a chance as people upholding our belief in democracy when we are all bitching and fighting amongst ourselves. Why all the slagging off of America, Britain or wherever? I love all nationalities who are decent life-loving people, I only hate bad and evil people. I'm not American, but yes I agree, America is usually there to help others.

This is a funny advert. Now then, I dont't know if I was watching it right, but there is no hint in there about americans being dumb. I am English, and I know plenty of idiots who get thrills out of laughing at other people, and they are not american! I know people who can barely do 10+10, and they're not american! How can you say Americans are stupid uneless unless you've met EVERY SINGLE ONE of them! Granted, they could do with a better president, but there are tons of people who aren't american who would bomb every country if they had his kind of power! SO, before you complaining freaks moan about the americans over an advert, just remember that no-one cares for your insulting comments and that you probably aren't perfect yourself if all you want to do is insult people you don't know.
