People have made negative remarks about the military and why would anybody want to join. Let me try to make this as clear as possible. Most of our troops do not join for the money. Most do not join for the glory, or to "kill the bad guys". Brave men and women join the military because they believe in supporting and defending the freedoms established by the United States of America. The same freedoms that allow you and me to sit on our computers, in the safety of our homes, and freely post our opinions without persecution. I am not asking you to support the War effort in Iraq. However, I am asking you to respect and support the fine men and women stationed domestically and abroad who fight to preserve our freedoms. Countless numbers of troops have given their lives to keep us free. Their sacrifices allow us to do everything from electing our leaders to choosing where we live, from choosing where we work to choosing our schoolsl. So please support our troops and appreciate all that they do for us, their sacrifices keep us free in more ways than we may ever know.

A lot of you people could not do 1 week of Boot Camp before crying for your dad and or mom to take you out of boot camp. And it's not like it was back in the 60's and 70's ...

This recruiting film shows acts of violence set to a blood pumping song trying to get the youth all pumped up for how great being in the military is and all this destruction you can do. Why is it that the military has no recruiting films with the SAME song showing images of hurt and dying soldiers or children lying dead because of a "smart bomb".
