Asian Giant Hornet slaughtering honey bees
america will send 300 fighter planes and japan will deploy only 5! japan will still win because they will send VOLTES V! hahaha!
By brygab69 1161926617Those are imported honeybees that were brought to Japan from European stock. As a non-native species, the bees do not have a natural defense to the giant hornets. The rest of this documentary shows what happens when a giant hornet scout stumbled across a native Japanese bee hive. The Japanese bees surrounded the scout, generated heat through friction and cooked the hornet alive (the bees had a higher heat tolerance than the hornet).
By Cauldron 1155213133And here's the full story;-)
Go to national geographic.com (without the blank;-), select 'Video in the News'...on Page 2 is the first vid about these hornets, another one can be found on page 9 in the section "Top Ten Videos of 2005 From National Geographic News"
The last Vid shows not only the attack on an european hive, but aswell how japanese honey beens take the scout down...
Pretty scaring these hornets, not only that they are big, they are aswell the most toxic kind of wasp on earth...in Japan, about 40 people die per year because they get stung by these insects...a sting feels 'like a burning nail in the flesh' according to victims...
So if u'll ever be in Asia
i love how everyone here knows every detail about giant hornets that i've never even heard of.
By passthe hennessy 1156483556the japanese hornets nest usually has no more than 100 per hive
By Griffster 1155388336This is like aliens vs predators. The predators hunt and kill the aliens in small numbers while there r 1000s of aliens. This is same like wit those insects. I bet the producer of the movie got the idea from this video
By J$P 1155324816This is like aliens vs predators. the predators attack in aliens in small numbers while there r like 1000 of aliens plus predators r stronger and cooler same wit those insects i bet the producer got the idea from this video.
