You say that Aikido is not efficent in fighting. I got 1st dan blackbelt in aikido and studying for 5 years. In my black belt exam, I have been attacked randomly for 1 hour. I didnt know how they will attack and they didnt know which technique I will use to defend myself. In some videos people I mean attackers are really looking like dumbs just running and falling. But in reality is not like that. If you ever attack somebody with high level of aikido training you would understand that it is not fake :)

bas rutten didn't beat frank shamrock because rutten was an akido master, he beat him because he was about 20 pounds heavier, very very good muay thai fighter and he became good with submissions, he became a well rounded fighter. you're all forgetting that shamrock beat rutten the first time 'round and shamrock was a middleweight and rutten was a heavyweight. stop bringing up that fight as evidence of akido's greatness, there were much greater factors in that fight than akido, i didn't see rutten go for any wrist twist takedown things, did you?
