Joel Osteen wants you to know the key to being a bounce back person. Life is full of things that try to push us down. We all face disappointments and setbacks. Maybe you got bad news concerning your health. A relationship didn’t work out. Or perhaps the hurricane damaged your house. It was a setback. It’s easy to get discouraged, lose our enthusiasm. Too often we just settle where we are. But if we’re going to see God’s best we have to have this bounce back mentality. That means when you get knocked down you don’t stay down. You get back up again. It means when disappointments come and things don’t go your way you don’t have a pity party and think, “Life’s just not fair.” No, you shake it off knowing what was meant for your harm God is going to use for your good.

    If you only show the last 15 minutes of his broadcast, you're cheating us. The entire ministry includes the wonderful praise music written and directed by Israel Houghton; Victoria Osteen'swonderful message, the prayer interlude and then the overall message. If you are going to show Joel Osteen, show the whole show -- not just the excerpt. It is really the most uplifting thing you can do. Of course his message is wonderful and one of encouragement and faithfulness so you are on the right path. But to give the whole prgram is to truly give your viewers a real gift.
