    It's in kamala beach.. We were lucky, we went home to Sweden like a week before this happened. Many pepole lost their lifes.. Terrible.

    Everyone has their own believes!!! Some people think there is a god, some people don't!! I think when your number is up, it's up!! I have been through alot of deaths and when your up you are. I should have been dead a couple times already and I'm still standing with no broken bones or anything!!Then others that should be here and are not for no real reason. Everyone has a number. I do not nessically agree with it, but it is true. Anyone that has seen people go for no reason, and we still stand tall, and shouldn't, you know. I believe there is something else out there, not sure what it is?? anyone for some idea's?? Not into the god thing, he wouldn't take the best first!!!

      .. you're naive if you believe that. The American Geological Society have records showing that there has been an increase in volcanic eruptions globally in the last 90 years. The size of the eruptions measuring greater then 6 on the Richter scale is statisically higher in this time period than in the 200 years preceeding 1900. Explain that, if the earth is supposed to be cooling down!
      This is more likely a man-made disaster for two reasons: This is the only century where we have been capable of setting off nuclear tests underground which create fractures in the earth's crust. The geological plates are moving along fault lines which are already mapped and newer fractures are being discovered. We're already affecting the weather above ground - it's not so obvious what's happening below. Consider that billions of tons of oil are pumped out of the earth by petro-chemical companies and the empty caverns are simply capped off. It's like drawing air out of a football!
      One scientist who was measuring seismic activity in the Asian Pacific gave warnings of a pending quake with a resultant tidal wave as his monitoring records gave such an indication. The authorities sacked him in 1996 because they said the media reports were affecting the tourist trade on the islands. The scientist who replaced him was coerced into keeping his results quiet. Some hope of an early warning system - when they do not even want it!

    If you want to call it a God then so be it. Personally, I think the Pagans had the right idea. As did the North and South American Indians. Worship the earth and all of natures elements. Respect them, understand them and look after them. Miracles and disasters are a walk in the park for mother nature.
