At first I wasn't sure I wanted to watch this...and now I'm wiching I hadn't because I'm about to crya at the thought of losing all of my family. It's just soooo sad

...leave the bible out of this!!! So many people have died and even more are still alive suffering and wondering about their future! It was a disaster caused by nature!! And that's that!! Made sure your soul is where it should be? I believe God is forgiving and none of this poor souls went to hell!!!

not very smart for people who live on islands and by the ocean....to not see a giant ass wave coming towards you! Go to the beach on a regular day, what do the waves do when they hit the beach? the water goes up a bit, then gets drwan back, it goes up again and gets drawn in again, if the water is going back several hundred meters what the F**k do you think is gonna happen? I know that they were curious, but grow some F**king common sense.

if it's better to be in the water when the wave comes... doesn't it just passes over you? and this way you escape or at least don't risk heavy injuries from the impact with the objects on the beach. :-?

RIP everyone who lost their lives during the Tsunami. The tragedy seriously highlighted the helpness of the world in the face of such a natural disaster. It could happen anywhere!

u kno0w what the saddest thing is its the reason they were down there becuase before a tsunami strike all the water goes back soo all u cna see is like sand. thats why there were a lot of people there because fish were just flopping around they didnt know what was going on if only they new thousands of people would still be alive.

the thing is, the warning was already sent out to regions which would be hit. however it was a holiday and apparently there was no one to answer the call.

it came out on the news as well. shocking eh? how many lives would have been saved if the agency actually had someone who would have picked up the phone.

Notice the people who are at the bottom and look at them as long as u can u see that theres the first big wave which whoever was recording scram and went a bit bak then they run cause another wave comes well look at the people at the bottom they probably got dragged away hopefully not. May god bless them like Big Ted says and well i hope it never happens again-

Aparentl a 10 year old girl who was on a really busy beach saw the water rush out off the beach like it does just before a tsunami and she rememberd that from a geography lesson and she told everyone that it was coming before they could see and and saved about 300 people

the footage of when the sea is sucked out is most amazing, its earie.saw sum pics or a video of that sumwhere, its up there with 9-11 footage but that still gives me shivers

The best p.e teacher i have ever had was on holiday in this country, and was at the very top of one of the hotels when it struck, luckily he escaped unharmed, unlike others, RIP

I feel horrible for the people that lost their lives in this natural disaster but seriously, big giant wave coming at me means I'm outta there, not oooing and aahhhing until I realize, "hey, this is really going to do some serious water damage to my country". Again, when you see disaster coming at you, go the other way before it gets to you.

I found this site by accident. You all say put your hand in your pockets, but education is more important. Watching people standing on that beach bought back horrendous memories. Shouting to people to get off the beach and away from the oncomming wall of water. We might as well have been from Mars. These people and tourists thought it was funny and a novelty to see big, high, powerful waves coming towards them. We were lucky, we live to tell the tale, but how many of those in the clip didnt because of ignorance and stupidity. So surely education and sense is important too.

I did not know that someone knew it was coming but did not do anything about it. It is Sad. Same thing happened in Galveston Texas in 1900 when thousands of people knew but went down there to watch a Hurricane come in and were trapped by rising Tides they perrished in that Storm. Yahweh makes it a point for all of us to be aware of the signs that will happen in the end times. I went to American club and I saw the news the was wedding of abdurahman and he told me no body coulde drive
without saying his passward otherwise no wedding hoenymoon because the beach in sudan on fulltime and cameras for security are avilable. Life gards as in films detect any hight pointwave but the ships were not sailing
and the was lanch for bruce came by and seddenly I saw preisoner released and he toldme I am free Finally.

when you hear the people standing around the beach, they were still laughing when it started... i really think the people should set their 'internal danger alram' higher, so when danger approaches, they will know and react more quickly... pray for those who lost their lives...

it seems strange that the people on the beach can see what is coming in but they don't move? watching the footage unfold it gives a shocking insight as to what happened that day.

I have a friends from work one who had to bury her mum before this terror hit indonesia,and another holidaying in Pakistan the lady is ok thank "GOD" but Mohamed I don't know.

Everyone should pay attention to the things that are happening in the world today. All of this can be found in the Bible. God said there would be signs and wonders that the world has never seen and this is only the beginning. Pay attention dear people and make sure your soul is where it should be...how many of those people lost actually knew God or went to hell????

I have never seen the begining of a tsunami before, only drawings or in films. May God rest the souls of those innocents who died in this disaster. We shall never forget.
