its very common in many poor countries...that guy wouldnt be earning more then US $2 per day...believe me when ur hungry and u need to feed a family u ll do the same...

i mean wow but damn....poor guy he has to work in such conditions...

i live in paraguay... and i see stuff like this every day, and believe it or not, ppl dont complain that much about it!! its not that anormal! its anormal to be rich.. people are happy that they can work and dont complain that much.. its just hard for pple in the first world

This is a very common sight in India... daily wage earners... these are the people who come from the villages to the city in search for a better life... It's sad to see them being exploited here... some get daily wages of around Rs.10. That is around 20 cents. While the city people, like myself, we earn around Rs.600 per day, (which is considered very good)... and even that is just around $12.

He makes $2 per day so what. Try to live on that here. You can't. At least he can. And no apologies. The black dust I breathe in every day at work is certainly going to do me damage long term, along with the heavy physical labour.

Don't pity the guy, he's being a good provider for his family I'll bet, and doing it the closest, best way he knows how.

I have immense respect for people who know how to work. It is not right he probably does it for 12 hours per day, that he is cheaper than a dolly on which one guy couls carry 40-60 bricks, and that if he happens to fall ill, they'll simply get someone else and say 'bye-bye' to him, no matter how good he is at his job.

It's not what he does, but how he is treated that everyone should be commenting on.

Their are people who get paid many times what he gets, doing a fraction of a percentage of the work, simply by the time and place they were born into.

I retired after 40 years of physical labour such as that and I am totally impressed.As he loaded the bricks and then turned and walked away there was no sign in his legs or stature that he was overmatched. I wonder how long his back will last?

As a bangadeshi i am saying we are hard working and very Brave but we dont have opportunity cos of our stupid Politicians. This is nothing what you jast saw. People work harder than this. They get like 6cents per hour. Hope our brave people will see happyness one day. Amin.

When I haul cargo as such in asia. The dock workers get paid for each piece they carry on board or off board.. Don't assume that they are paid by the hour. The harder they work the more money they make.....
