  • 2.0 Logo?

Having worked with the web since the early 90's please tell me what makes this a Web 2.0 logo as opposed to just a logo that one stick on a web site?

I am also new to Adobe Illustrator (I figured after developing server applications for the past 10 years, I might get into front end stuff). How does one save JUST the logo off as a .png file.
