You hold a door for a women she says " I don't need to be treated like the weaker sex". You don't hold the door and she says "you're and inconsiderate jerk" You insist on taking care of the check she gets upset becase she doesn't need a mans support you split the check now you a jerk for not treating her like a lady. If she know she looks bad in that dress and we say she looks good we're liers if we tell the truth we're assh*les. Seriously women WTF. When men say we don't get women it's not a joke WE DON'T GET YOU. Guys are simple what we say is what we mean. If I say I wasent thinking about anything, it's not that I don't want to share, I really wasen't thing about anything.

please remember this is an ad probably made by only a few people (maybe even some men) to entice men to buy jewlery. IT"S NOT A STATEMENT ABOUT HOW WOMEN FEEL ABOUT MEN IN GENERAL. i, personally would be thrilled with a really great vacuum. however, not many women want exercise equipment unless she's specifically asked for it.

If the women in your life are shallow and materialistic, it reflects a problem in your taste in women. Most women are pretty cool and it's easy to tell the ones who aren't if you simply show a little judgment that doesn't involve your crotch. Don't be afraid to move on if a woman is a pain in the ass hypocrite.

Of course, this all depends on you not being a shallow jerk yourself. If that's what you are, then you're pretty much stuck with the kind of woman you deserve.

While this is a funny, well done video, it was made for commercial purposes, to get us to spend our hard earned bucks to make some big company rich. I can understand the frustration of the men who've commented. Women have the same frustrations, that's the nature of how we've been brought up-not honoring and communicating our vulnerability to each other. Listen-we all want the same thing-to feel appreciated and respected by our partners. That starts with finding our goodness and integrity deep inside ourselves. Children deserve to get that from their parents, but as adults no one can actually give us that but ourselves. As we learn to respect ourselves we can see the real beauty and fragile humanness in our partners. That's the appreciation we all really want to give and receive, that's the greatest gift of all.

Gotta see this! Just because she's your wife, don't remind her of housework, body size, child-rearing. Give her the gift of being the special partner in your life. Her grace, charm, beauty and intelligence.

Buy your woman flowers and what does she say? Next time dont forget the chocolates. Buy her chocolates too and now she wants a party. Pay for the party and now she wants karaoke machine... and so on. And all this is true!!!

Take my advice. Give a woman everything she can possibly want and she will only end up hating you for it. So buy what you want, never change, and dont listen to them.

It has been said that women only whant on thing, but they won't tell us what it is so untill then we will still get it wrong and end up in the dog house...My advice don't get anything just give them you bank card and tell them to go shopping .a big bill is less painful that a week on the sofs.

Ok, I am a woman. And guess what my husband gave me as my "big" gift for Christmas? More memory for my laptop! WHICH I LOVE!!! I use my laptop every day and he doubled the memory. AND he installed it for me! I don't think he "gets" me all the time... but after 25 years of marriage AND some bad gifts (a full length mirror for mother's day is NOT a good gift) he has learned the most important thing: what is it that I would like, practical or not, that will make me happy.
But regardless.... this commercial is TRUE and hilarious!! Men: BEWARE! And think before you buy!

Been married for 44 years. the best I can figure is this how they attept to control you. By keep ing you totally confused. I pitty the next generation.

Any 'gift' that is related to work is not a gift. Male or female, no-one wants to be to be told, however indirectly or with fancy technology, that they are only good for housework. Think spoil, cosset, treasure - not necessities!!!!!

I read some of your comments and well.....not all women are as materialistic as you believe. And as far as not getting what you want, my husband solved that and sent me his wish list from Basspro shop......as far as our next vacation.....hmmmm, we are going to Tennessee so he can go on a hoghunt and I am going to just chill and relax in the cabin and read....I guess maybe people should just learn to appreciate what they have, and just having someone to love and someone to love should be enough...all the extras are just that...extra....
