    Downgrading of baseband is a big risk …
    DO NOT USE ziphone .. Mite destroy the bootloader for 3G i-phone…
    The best solution is to use 2.2 turbo sim..
    Guyz i have programmed a turbo sim for firmware 2.2..
    I am using it in India on airtel n it's working perfectly fine...

  • 3g iphone dongrading to 2.1

    with downgrading to 2.1 will i be able to use my 3g iphone with any sim but it will not synch with itunes? i'm not worried about synch to itunes i just need the phone function so i can call and send messages while i'm out of the country this month

      Thank you, but there is no need to show you how to upgrade the iphone since all you need is to plug it in and itunes will automatically do the update. The real problem is getting the iphone to downgrade.

    i actually used the new quickpwn and my phone is unlocked and jailbroken and even shows the tmobile in the upper corner but it says sim not supported...what now?

      Dude I'm sorry to say, you are stuck. Once you upgraded the iphone to version 2.2 it upgrades the baseband which cannot be downgraded at this time. This is why your card does not work. The video is intended for people that are having problems with version 2.2. Look on google from time to time to see if someone comes out with a baseband downgrade. Best of luck.

    everything went the way you said but the error i was getting wasnt 1013 but 5. so when it restarted it was still 2.2. What do I do?

  • the baseband dont change

    nothing new about what we see !!
    the only problem to deal with is the baseband that stays on 2.2 fw, so we get no service ,
    your phone is unlocked or simfree so there is no problem .
