very simple.....
the egg is a hard boiled egg. you can see that by how shiney the egg is. a normal egg shell is dull. the matches burn up the oxygen in the bottle, creating a vacumn, which then pulls the egg inside of it.

  It may be just a boiled egg, but I think the shell has been dissolved away by soaking in vinegar, leaving only the white membrane holding the egg together.
